In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".

The DOW down 185 is simply a bit of badinage about last night’s speech.
While politicians like to engage in good-natured, and sometimes not so good-natured badinage, anytime our idiot of a VP opens his mouth, you just know that a biden gaffe is imminent. biden

OMG where has the badinage gone on FR? A thread yesterday about some old woman in the UK tatooing a do not resusitate order on her chest led to some newbie telling me I’ve been useless in this life and my daughter isn’t fit to be a nurse. We need a word about overblown egos and a new group called “right to zot idiots”

Wondering what the lib fallout is from the speech. Haven’t had time to sit still this AM to read it. The rain let up momentarily and i had to hit the grocery store before it started pouring again. Have you checked to make sure your house hasn’t floated off? or maybe MD isn’t getting as much rain as we are. They closed the Beltway for a bit at Alexandria last night and Fairfax Co. Charles Co. and i think Prince William had no school today. The creek down in our neighborhood flooded over and they closed it after i forded it to get to the groc store. Lucky there’s a back way in!
Those tatts are real and people do get them. What was their problem?
