It will fail miserably and she will be a pariah to any GOP or Right leaning person for decades having handed Obummer another 4 years to destroy the country. There is no reason to pull a stunt like this unless she knows she is going to lose in GOP Primaries with base voters.
The only way I will vote 3rd party is if The Republican is named McCain.
Yup, Palin isn't a fool. There is no way she'd do that. Even those that defend her now would shred her for a 3rd party attempt - that includes Rush, Levin, Hannity, etc.

You may be correct, but the purpose of this thread was to speculate at her intentions. It is both interesting and fun.
Not only will she only pull a Perot-type rating, the Repukes and Dims will ban together to destroy her presidency by blocking every conservative measure she proposes.
She is aware of this. And that is why this is not her plan.
My view is that the Axlerod/Olberman/Maddow crew will push hard for Dems to crossover in open primaries and vote for Mitty. A reverse Op Chaos.
I think Mitty is the only R candidate that would guarantee a Tea party candidate in most states.
Obama can either be a landslide loser in a 2-way or a plurality winner in a 3-way.

I never know which way she is going to turn. I though resigning as Governor was a great mistake, but from a career perspective it was a good move. She is in the chips now. Sometime I think that if one can think of the most improbable thing that Palin will do then that is most likely what she will do.
I don’t think so. The liberals are not really aware of the Mitt angst on the right - and if they announced such a plan, it would sink Mitt’s candidacy.
Interesting concept. I am not sure that Cain can pull it off, but he will be interesting to watch.
