I will watch it for sure, one way or the other.
If I have any after effects, I have my teardrops
to use this time. I didn’t buy the expensive ones.
I just used the Walgreen’s brand and they have the
same ingredients, such as they are!! Its very
soothing. And I use my dark glasses if its too
bright!

Hey there, Diver!
Guess you figured the way to get ol' wolfie out of the forest was to toss him somethin' to worry about.
Well, my friend, it won't work. I know how tough you are, you'll beat this bump in the road - as you've beaten many other bumps during your lifetime.
God bless you, Dave. May the healing hands of the Lord work their magic over your body.
Um....since nobody's lookin'...here's a manly-man hug.
Wimmin aren't the only ones who need hugs. : )
To: ST.LOUIE1
Thank you Louie.
I'm glad you came out of hibernation.
I really appreciate your prayers and comments. We are going to beat this. I've weathered many a storm over the years and this one is beatable too.
Thank you so much for your response. It really means a lot to me and my family.
Stay tuned for updates. I'm looking forward to posting a cancer-free comment.
Take care my friend.

You are sooo very welcome. Life does throw us some unexpected and unwanted curves.
Your outlook on things warms my heart. Just to know you and your family have a great faith and a trust in the Lord for such storms needing to be weathered brings a smile!
God Bless you, DD! *hugs*

Surprise!
October 31, 2011
A writer for The Washington Post conducted an experiment to test peoples perception. He asked a famous violinist to perform incognito at a train station in the nations capital one January morning. Thousands of people walked by as he played, but only a few stopped to listen. After 45 minutes, just $32 had been dropped into the virtuosos open violin case. Two days earlier, this manJoshua Bellhad used the same $3.5 million Stradivarius for a sold-out concert where people paid $100 a seat to hear him perform.
The idea of a person not being recognized for his greatness isnt new. It happened to Jesus. He was in the world, John said, . . . and the world did not know Him (John 1:10). Why did people who had been expecting the Messiah give Jesus such a cold reception? One reason is that they were surprised. Just as people today dont expect famous musicians to play in railway stations, the people in Jesus day didnt expect Messiah to be born in a stable. They also expected Him to be a political kingnot the head of a spiritual kingdom.
The people in the first century were blinded to Gods purpose in sending Jesus to this world. He came to save people from their sins (John 1:29). Receive Gods surprising gift of salvation that He offers freely to you today.
Amazing thought! that God in flesh
Would take my place and bear my sin;
That I, a guilty, death-doomed soul,
Eternal life might win! Anon.
God broke into human history to offer us the gift of eternal life.
Read: John 1:6-13
Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Eye of new, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and owlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boi and bubble.

Have a great Halloween, M-L!

To: jaycee
Morning, jaycee! I’ll write you later longer, but I have to go dig our scary stuff out of the shed, for the outside. Already have some things, and a scary orange fluorescent light bulb, it looks so creepy!

I heard that if you scare the little ones, they drop their candy when they’re running off crying, and that’s more for us to eat! bad BQ

Satan is subtle, he is a deceiver, he is prideful and opposes God. Listen not to his voice. We are in the world ... not of this world”, we are a set apart people.. Keep you eyes focused and looking for coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We know not the day nor hour.

Louie, If you ever have cause to wonder why you are so loved at Amy’s Place, look no further than your reply to Diver Dave. Your message to Dave was touching and sweet....and, yes, manly. :-)
Dave, as you know, JK and I have been praying hard for you since we first heard of your health problems and we won’t let up. I will say again what Louie said, because he said it so well...”May the healing hands of the Lord work their magic over your body”. We love you around here, DD. :-)
I am sending love and cyber hugs to both of you.

Thank you, for the Daily bread. We have so many preconceived ideas through which we filter the news. The medias are notorious for slanting the news in whatever direction it serves their purpose whether it be for an election or to sell a book or promote their television program. Politics are manipulated to such an extent the public has no idea of truth, or what to believe and what not to believe.
Sad story. We have been seeing prayer, the cross, Jesus, and Christians are especially impugned; and the terrorists are excused and ignored.
We live during an upside down and crazy time. If we keep accepting this as permissible, we will lose America and become like Venezuela, China, Russia, and other nations living under tyranny, Lies, distortion and deception.
God can and does answer prayer. He also can let us have what it is we act like we want. IE. Israel when they decided they wanted to have a king.
God help us, we need thy guidance and protection, we ask forgiveness and thy blessings today. We are in danger... in Jesus name, amen.
ARISE and BUILD!

GOOD MILITARY MONDAY TO AMYS PLACE!
The Soldiers Code
1) I am an American fighting man. I serve in the forces which guard my country and our way of life. I am prepared to give my life in their defense.
2) I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender my men while they still have the means to resist.
3) If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
4) If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information or take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me, and will back them up in every way.
5) When questioned, should I become a prisoner of war, I am bound to give only name, rank, service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies, or harmful to their cause.
6) I will never forget that I am an American fighting man, responsible for my actions, and dedicated to the principles which made my country free. I will trust in my God and in the United States of America.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower, August, 1955.
