Why would the baker even know it was for a same sex couple unless they made it a point to tell her and made a big deal about it?

Homosexuals will constantly be pushing the envelope, just to agitate and file lawsuits. Christian pastors that adhere to a Biblical stance vis-a-vis homosexuality will be asked to perform same-sex weddings simply for purposes of agitation and publicity. Of this we can be certain.
