Vanity. I need your help to ban a dangerous chemical

A friend of mine sent me an email about a chemical being used every where we go. It's called dihydrogen monoxide. He said it does a lot of nasty things to people. Some of them are:
it causes excessive sweating and vomiting
it's a major component in acid rain
it can cause severe burns in its gaseous state
accidental inhalation of this can kill you
it contributes to erosion
it decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes
it has been found in tumors of terminal cancer patients

I think you already know this, but your “friend” is yanking your chain pretty hard.
dihydrogen monoxide is plain old water.
Kicking back in your favorite chair, with a shot of Glenfiddich Scotch and some dihydrogen monoxide from a local spring, will smooth things out for you.

I forwarded your note to EPA. Hopefully they can do something about it, maybe ban it. We have enough chemicals to deal with in this world. The last thing we need is something that messes up humans to this extent.
