A lot of the predictions here assume that Israel and Iran do not go to war. If Israel and Iran do go to war, I predict a more dire 2012. I believe Israel will go to war in Lebanon against Hezbollah. Assad will assist and fight a proxy war, possibly an Israeli/Syrian confrontation.
Newt Gingrich and his running mate, Gov Susana Martinez (R-NM) will defeat Barrack Obama and Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL20) in the US Presidential election. The big story will be the number of “blue” states that will go GOP including Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Before the end of the year, Gingrich will nominate Rick Santorum to be Secretary of State and Gov Sarah Palin to be Secretary of Energy. John Bolton will become Gingrich’s NSA.
The GOP will retain the US House and retake the US Senate. George Allen Jr and Connie Mack will be elected to the US Senate. Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI01) will be the new Speaker defeating Rep. Eric Cantor(R-VA07) after Rep. John Boehner (R-OH08) announces he will step aside as Speaker but will retain his seat.
There will be an attempt to replace Biden with Sec of State Clinton, however, it will be disclosed that the US was embarrassedly closer to Libya before the US took military action. It will also come out the Clinton had more of the personal financial interest in the Keystone pipeline. The Democrats will settle with Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL20) to no avail. Colin Powell will refuse to endorse Obama. Ralph Nader and Dennis Kuchenich will run under an independent ticket.
The US SCOTUS will declare the Heathcare Law unconstitutional 6-2. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will stepdown after the 2011-2012 term. The court will also rule that the Stolen Valor Act is unconstitutional.
The US economy will hit a bad spot, unexpectedly of course, in the second quarter. Little if any economic growth; little if any employment growth. The stockmarket will flirt with 9900 in May, but will rebound to about 10600 by August. The Euro will be worth $1.07 by September, the Deutschmark will make a comeback in 2013. Sears will declare bankruptcy in 2012.
HRH Queen Elizabeth II will announce she will be stepping down at the end of 2012 or 2013. HRH Prince Charles will accept the throne. The Tory-LDP coalition will collapse by the end of 2012, Nick Clegg will step aside. Snap elections will be called, but Cameron will survive.
There will be a terror scare at the Summer games in London.
Nicolas Sarkozy will defeat François Hollande in the summer of 2012. Putin will become the next President of Russia in 2012 despite popular unrest.
Israel will go to war with Hezbollah. India and Pakistan will be on the brink after border skirmishes.
Sports
The Cowboys and the Packers will play in a memorable playoff game, which go down as the “greatest NFL game of the 21st Century”. The game shall be played in Green Bay in sub-freezing temperatures (for accompanying music click here) and will be tied 17-17 in double-overtime. The Packers will start to mount an impressive game winning drive only to fumble on the Dallas 48 on an errant snap. During the next series, Romo will hit Murray with short pass. Murray will scamper 48 yards for the winning score.
UNC, Kentucky, Georgetown, and Ohio State will be in the Final Four. UNC will end its three game losing streak to Kentucky to win the NCAA championship.
Detroit and Philadelphia and shall play for the 2012 World Series, Detroit shall win it 4 games to2.
The Red-wings will win the Stanley Cup.
Oklahoma City will face Miami in the NBA finals; Miami will win it this time.
Bill Cowher will become the coach of the San Diego Chargers.
The NCAA will announce a 8 team football playoff format starting in 2013-2014 season.

Kaley Cuoco will announce she will no longer do TV, only movies, and possibly agree to pose for Playboy by the end of 2012. “Keeping up with the Kardashians” will be cancelled. Chef Gordon Ramsey will consider a bid for Parliament in the UK.

The USA will continue to be world policeman. The amount of stuff that we buy from other countries will increase. The USA will continue to go broke as Chinese economic and military power increases. Purchasing power will be diminished through lessened wages and inflation. A third party dedicated to the middle class and American nationalism will be born. America will have hope again as they are swept into office in 2014.
Well some of my political guesses are:
1. Romney-Bachman beat Obama-Biden, if it is Newt Obama wins. The conservative who would have won the nomination and election, Palin, chose not to run.
2. More explosions in Iran.
3. The unemployment rate stays at 8.6 in Jan, rises to 8.8 in Feb and is only down to 8.5 on election day.
Meanwhile Ron Paul and Sarah are far too intelligent to join in the destruction of the US.
Meanwhile, I pray for our Country every day.
Moochelle will take 17 vacations with her extra special secret service dude on the taxpayers’ dollars.
Congress will waste more taxpayers’ dollars and pass more commie bills.
The economy and the unemployment will continue to be in the dumps as the dollar sinks.
We, the People, will lose more freedoms.
There will be more illegals crossing into the US and demanding rights and freebies.
Overall crime will rise.
At the new year, the climate will be colder, followed by heavy storms, warmer and then hot weather will come, then there will be moderate temps followed closely by colder weather again at the end of ‘12.
Emotional depression will all but smother US voters as November approaches.
The price of tea will rise in China.
The ME will start another war.
No way will she step down with a Republican president. If Obama isn't reelected she will hold on until she dies or a RAT is elected president.
How many vacations will the Obamas take during that time?

I think if the American public cared more about America instead of themselves than I believe your political guesses could come true, but reality always sets in and I would give Obama 50 percent shot. lol. I know that is middle of the road but I just don’t trust the American people as a whole. The Senate will probably be Republican and the House will be Republican but either stay the same or lose some of the seats won in Democratic districts. Who knows though. It is anybody’s guess.

The domestic economy gets an unexpected respite lasting practically through to the presidential election, due to snowballing effects from the financial crisis abroad causing flight to safety and driving up the US dollar.
Worldwide efforts to deliberately depress precious metals in order to drive currency back into “productive” pursuits will succeed in taking the price of gold down to $1,200/oz. via a combination of increased margin requirements, manipulative, elaborate trading schemes and the revelation of massive fraud in both gold ETFs and physical gold itself. Chinese gold plated tungsten will be discovered to comprise a large percentage of presumed sovereign gold holdings, beginning with Venezuela.
The Euro will continue to exist, albeit with fewer member states participating. The dollar value of the currency will not be allowed to go below $1.30 by means of massive intervention.
Greece will be the object of foreign aid efforts above and beyond financial assistance before the year is out due to the increasing dysfunction of the government verging upon near anarchy.
Another of the so-called PIIGS nations other than Greece will go into a surprise default, releasing a tsunami of quantitative easing that even the Germans cannot resist.

Mitt Romney will have a nervous breakdown, and disappear from public view for several months, then start a hedge fund.

Rick Perry will be named Secratary of Energy. Three months later the department will be abolished.
Tim Pawlenty will continue to do whatever the hell he is doing.
Herman Cain will get divorced and start a retail chain selling everything for $9.99.
Sarah and Todd Palin will host a hunting and fishing show for the Outdoor Channel.
Ron Paul will announce he is running for president in 2016.
