OT Denver 30 Pitt 23
And Rush is not going to be a happy camper tomorrow either.
I don’t think that would work. It would have to be a touchdown, not a field goal or safety.
Damn. I took a quick visit to the john and came out in time to just barely catch the guy at the 50 yd line run it in for a TD. I will never go to the bathroom again- or at least until after the Super Bowl.
Screw you.
That is about as sudden death as you can get in the first non sudden death game.
A safety is considered a defensive score so I would say that counts.
Here’s the last play.

May the Lord richly bless you during your times of trouble. Amen.
If you score a touchdown on the first possession, you win.
If you turn the ball over and the defense scores, they win.
If you score a FG on the first possession , the opponent gets a possession, to tie and continue, or to win.
Or something like that.
This is good.
Steelers are a no good bunch of criminals..rapist, dwi killers and such.
Glad to see them go down. Bunch of thugs...cheaters. never seen so many nasty defensive poor sportsmanship than I have with the 2011 Pittsburgh Steelers.
Just like I told you, Tebow can’t throw!
Just a little advise, don't quit your job and go into coaching.
That would be the epic suspense thriller, "Enemy at the Gates."
Jesus wins! Liberals apoplectic!
“And Rush is not going to be a happy camper tomorrow either.”
I have a feeling he won’t feel all that bad the Steelers lost since Tebow had a good game. Thomas made up for that earlier drop with a good catch and run on that last play.
It was like that movie about the Communist sniper trying to kill the Nazi sniper.
Don't hold back ... tell us how you really feel.
And I suppose every player on every other team is a saint.
For those who want some details of the Bronco-Steelers game, here’s ESPN’s initial report:

Tim Tebow rediscovers magic as Broncos oust stunned Steelers in OT
DENVER — One of the most storied NFL playoff teams ran into a rejuvenated Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos.
Sorry, Pittsburgh Steelers.
The magic is back.
Tebow connected with Demaryius Thomas on an electrifying 80-yard touchdown pass on the first play of overtime and the Broncos defeated the stunned Steelers 29-23 in the AFC wild-card game on Sunday. The play took 11 seconds and was the quickest ending to an overtime in NFL history.
Thomas hauled in a high play-action pass at the Denver 38, stiff-armed Ike Taylor and then outraced Ryan Mundy to the end zone. Tebow knelt in his own end zone, pounding a fist in triumph before taking a victory lap in jubilation.
Behind Tebow’s 316 yards passing, the Broncos (9-8) are heading to New England for a second-round game against the top-seeded Patriots on Saturday night.
The Steelers (12-5) lost despite Ben Roethlisberger rallying Pittsburgh from a two-touchdown halftime deficit with 10 points in the final 10 minutes.

I find it interesting that Tebow’s 316 yards passing helped win the game. Considering one of Tebow’s favorite Bible verses is John 3:16.
Divine Intervention??
>> “OK can someone explain this. I thoughtr each team got one possesioin in OT now.” <<
.
But not if a TD is scored during the first posession, by either the offense, or defense.
I hope not! Although all the guys on Fox NFL Sunday picked Pittsburgh as if it were a no-brainer.
This was the first game the NFL used new OT rules, instead of the old rules. On the OT coin toss the official mentioned the new rules, as well as the play by play announcers.
My favorite team is whoever is beating the PB Steelers.
The current Steelers are a far cry from the teams of the 70's with players such as Vietnam Veteran Rocky Blier.
LOL Oh I can assure you I won’t. As I said IMO.
I'm a Jets fan...you get used to it.
Clearly backward pass, refs missed an obvious fumble...given field position likely a 7 point swing.
Multiple face masks on Tim Tebow never called. Broncos would have a really good chance to win in regulation if called.
Well they have their 6 SB Titles to console themselves.
The only 2 times the game can be over in one possession is an offensive touchdown or a defensive score. Go Tebow!!!!
No one in my house has any voice left!!!! This town will be blue and orange tomorrow!!!
Great game! Go Tebow. Go Broncos.
;o)
Tebow always looked good in Orange and Blue. ;)
Be careful. That’s what the steelers thought too!
I didn’t listen to RUSH Friday but my First Wife said he would not make a prediction on the outcome of the game, IOW he would not bet against God nor would I...
Nuff said
Two uncalled facemasks on Tebow AFTER an uncalled blatant one in the middle of the field vs. Lance Ball...ALL 4th quarter during the "siesta" time of the refs!
One of ESPN's "wrap-ups" of the game mentioned the "aging" Steeler defense.
When your talent was yesteryear, you resort to gangsta football "style."
Sour Grapes from Mr. Sour Grapes?
Tsk,tsk.
And I hope he stays in orange and blue his entire hall of fame career!
Go Tim
>> “Can just imagine what Bill Maher was saying when he saw this.” <<
.
He’s presently in emergency surgery having his tongue re-attached. :o)
.
It was the best game of the weekend.
lol.
The worm will turn.
Someday.
Maybe.
Outstanding screencap!
That choreographed display was done in a mocking manner.
Teeeee Booooow !!!!!
Liberals hate him, so I like him! :-)
Take your rapist, your drunk driving philanderer, your mouth breathing thug animals....and enjoy the off season, loser.
It wasn’t so much a punch in the stomach to this Steeler fan. There are so many key injuries on this team that I didn’t think they would have made it to the SB anyway. Time to get some offensive linemen in the offseason!
Congrats to Tebow & Co.!
