Shepard Smith looks like he's going down hill very quickly. Has anyone heard anything about his status? I don't mean to make light of it or wish him ill but it looks like something is going on.
I have noticed for a long time that he seems to always have a cough or a cold

He also appears lethargic and with an almost somber countenance. Excessive exercise requires excessive energy levels which are not evident.
Can you put up maybe a trio of chronological photos of Shep, by chance? Is this just early aging, or what?
There you go. Sorry, I had not proceded down thread to know of your PERFECT examples of the chronology and progress of his physical decline in appearance. Thank you very much!
I noticed weight loss a couple months ago - figured he was dieting. Saw him last week and he had dark circles under eyes and tons of makeup trying to disguise his appearance.
He looked like a corpse.
Didn’t see him tonite.
AIDS is what I suspected, also. Shemp is not one I watch regularly.....especially after eating.
The the facial fat loss is a dead give away.
You know, though, I gotta say....remember Al Pacino was such a heart throb, just a beautiful man when he was younger. He aged very fast also. Who seeing him today would even recognize as the take away beauty in, say, the GODFATHER movie.
No matter how bad Shep looks, he’ll still be a lot better looking than Alan Colmes...

Yea, I thought he came out of the closet long ago. I’ve noticed his downward spiral for months.

I went to high school with him at Marshall Academy, me being three years his junior. I would ask one of his old girlfriends from my hometown if he had any health problems in the past, but sadly I dont remember him having any.
Ironically, I never watch Shep and of course never think about him, either. But today for some reason I was thinking about the tsunami in Japan, where I happened to catch some of Shep’s reporting. And, I thought, seemed like he got pretty close to the radioactive zone.

Personally, I cannot stand the jerk - Shimp Smith... he is a condescending liberal a-hole... But, I believe his current weight loss is due to an excessive response to competition from Fox Business News... namely Lou Dobbs... Dobbs has created a clone of his former CNN show on FBN... in the same time slot as Shimp... 7:00 EST. Dobbs is reducing Shimp’s audience share and in response Shimp Smith is over doing it in an excessive diet in an effort to look younger - BUT ... Smith does not understand who his audience is or at least WAS... What we see is Shimp Smith Worried near to Death ....

Exposure to special cancers, hepatitus (all communicable diseases), and drug use are risks of homosexual behaviors and lifestyle too. Also homosexual men suffer body image problems and that can result in all the same eating disorders usually entertained by women.
Whatever it is, I hope he is able to heal from it.
