This is weird...my tivo is not picking up Idol to record it next week. When I saw the program, the info says "original air date 3/9/11".

Is this a repeat. A Repeat! No way does Idol do repeats.?

Idol has dispensed with the usual biography/questionnaire that the finalists fill out (which is just as well—there’s only so many answers to questions like “When did you want to be a singer?” “What’s your favorite color?” “What kind of tree would you be?” etc.)

Now each singer has their own official fan page on Facebook where they’re free (more or less) to express themselves. And the comments they post there are more revealing about who they are than anything written in a fill-in-the-blank survey.

It's interesting to see how many "likes" each page has received so far (I think the pages have only been available since Thursday night or Friday morning). Most of the singers have between 6000 and 9000 likes. But Colton Dixon is way ahead with over 20,000 likes. The Gentle Giant has the least with less than 2700.
