Thanks for the reminder! I think Downton Abbey will be over by 10 p.m.

Just looking at him is torture enough, without hearing him sing.

He resembles Joan Rivers more and more each day.

Glad I missed it!

“So we see Tent Girl has a habit of trespassing on private property.

And of wantonly relieving herself :)”

THIS factoid proves she is obviously one of Obammys minions, and an “OWer” So she will be headlining on the “AI beg-a-thon with cameo appearance by Obammy and MOOchelle” night, I can assure you ;-)

It may be hard to go from the dreamy Downton Abbey to Idol but I’ll try. :)

LOL! Was this the psycho brunette?

Yes, the one who grabbed Steven's butt. < eye roll> She had a hardcore Buffalo accent, which is nearly identical to a Chicago accent. I turned to my husband and said, "For the love of all that is holy, please tell me I do not sound like that woman." He refused to answer me. LOL

If Newt is the nominee (and I hope he will be) then I'm not doing another X Factor thread. No one's going to watch that stupid show if there's a Newt/Obama debate on at the same time anyway, LOL

No kidding. I would actually pay to see a Newt v. O debate.

LOL!!! The word "wantonly" in front of a word conjures up images of someone wearing big flowing Auntie Mame style outfits, smoking a cigarette out of a long holder, and saying off-color things to make young men blush.

I’ve got school bright and early in the morning, so I’m not sure if I will be able to make it tonight or not. I’m actually supposed to be doing my homework right now (some very short notes on Edward Hopper) and kind of avoiding it.

Our first assignment for this class is going to involve typography and you know how much I love typography. :-|

I would help you but I have no idea what that is:)

Thankfully I am done taking classes for now. Instead of classes I am going to have them surgically attach a Spanish-English dictionary to my brain.

LOL!! At least in your area there are lots of people to practice on.

Typography is anything dealing with type, fonts, letterforms, etc. Our first project is going to be making a poster for a fictional art exhibition of an artist in his/her style without showing any of their work.

So, if I'm doing an Edward Hopper exhibition, it would have to be recognizable as his style without showing any of his paintings and using primarily type. It seems kind of tough for the first project of the semester and extremely similar to our final project last semester.

I'm not sure how I feel about the teacher yet. He calls our assignments, "pro-jects" like it's two separate words and he wore a turtleneck without a sweater or anything else over it. Yes, I am super judgy like that. LOL

Wonder why he didn't sing during the NFC game on FOX, to tie in with Idol?

The Pats/Ravens game was played in Foxboro and Steven Tyler is from Boston and presumably a Pats fan so that's why he sang at that game...

Well I don’t know how you will work on that and type snarky comments at the same time. That sounds challenging, you will have to scan and post it for our review.

Oh it’s not due yet! LOL We are still in the research phase. I don’t think it will be due for at least another week. I think I’m switching from Edward Hopper to Georgia O’Keeffe though. That is a little more my style.

Incoming PM.
