Im more impressed that someone my age is able to pull these names outta my hat! Then again...I was all about watching every musical ever produced, when I was younger.
There were some great ones made at that time. “Gypsy” is one of my all time favorites.
There is also a large Filipino population here in the states and they are voting like crazy for Jessica...

This is the most pernicious of songs, to me it is the song that proves that most people don’t even listen to the lyrics. Even when they have to SING them.
The song is a paen to godless communism, pure & simple.
If you know people who are smart enough to realize this, please send me their way!
Hubby & I still think Joshua got robbed tonight, but I have no fear because I know 2nd, 3rd, or even 7th place on Idol is good enough, if you’ve got the chops and determination. And winning is not a guarantee of much.
I continue to wish all the participants well. Hubby’s been a big Jessica fan from the start so I guess we are rooting for her in the final.

Glad our Chula Vista girl had a great showing for her home trip. Our mayor, Cheryl Cox, who presented her with a plaque, used to be our kids’ elementary school principal many moons ago.
I don’t recall any American Idol homecoming better than Jessica’s. The stadium, the school, and the USS Midway! What a showing! I wasn’t able to attend, but she sure has done San Diego, and especially Chula Vista, proud.
Our son attended her HS, Eastlake HS, the first year it opened. So glad to see our military represented in such a good light.
That girl is astonishing. What a great kid.

Retro & MagUSN: The funny thing about “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding” is that every groom has shown up late to their own wedding because they are drunk off their asses.
The brides look like Cinderella on acid and the dresses look like an Alice in Wonderland nightmare.
Aside from some Oriental cultures, this is one group of people that I cannot understand, yet feel compelled to watch with fascination — and they ‘weird me out’.
After working in telecom for 13 years, all I thought about was the routing on the toll-free #. LOL You kids and you're newfangled technology!
I completely agree and I think a lot of people share our opinion. I had it on one day and my husband kept asking me if this was in America. “Are you sure? This doesn’t seem very....us.” LMAO
I do occasionally watch Sister Wives, for the same reason. It’s so completely foreign to me.
Hi Jonny!! and all........SOOOO GLad that Joshua is gone. I had deja vu of the Fantasia year....I still can’t believe she won....ugh. Glad my favorite two made it. HAs anyone watched Americas Got Talent? I started watching it to see how Howard Stern would fit in and I have to tell you, it is now on my list of shows to watch. I think he’s very good and funny!

She will probably get alot of pre-teen girls voting for her too. Also the dirty old man vote, those who enjoy seeing a 16 year old girl dressed like someone much older singing Mariah Carey songs about spending the night together.(Shame on the Idol producers.) International voters are also claiming on social media sites that they are voting using things like Skype. Team Phillip will have to vote early and often. If its even close, Idol producers will give it to Jessica because they want a female winner, not another WGWG. It will also justify the awful “save” rule. If its just about the voice, then Jessica would be good on a show like “The Voice.” Phillip has the “it”factor—artistry, musicality, humility. That’s what an “American Idol” should be.....”
