Colton doesn’t say he was singled out by the producers. He doesn't say that he (or anyone) was ordered not to post what they wanted.

And nothing in these articles says he was told to "tone down" his comments or not talk about Jesus.

Idol producers are lefties, but they're not stupid. They went out of their way last year to show Scotty McCreery kissing his cross after meeting Lady Gaga and saying "Lord, this is not my doing."

Neither Scotty or Lauren Alaina hid their faith, and neither did Idol. They know who their audience is.

We once got a letter from the city because we had weeds in the flower bed. There weren’t even that many, I think someone mistook Coreopsis for dandelions. The home next door was door sale and we are pretty sure it was the realtor complaining because he was having a hard time unloading the property. Even now, the people there are just renting.
