*VANITY* What's up with Google dot com?

If there's already a previous thread on this, I apologize.

My question....what is up with Google dot com? What's with that big black square covering their logo on their search site? Am I missing something here?

I wrote to my congressman and tried to write to my senators (either from Google or Wiki, I don’t remember which) and the Senate e-mail was down! I guess that means it couldn’t handle the complaints.

So if you got that message when you tried to write to your senators, try again!

That’s a rude question. One doesn’t toke and tell.

“Google, Wikipedia and other sites are protesting the heavy handed PIPA and SOPA bills that would let Nobama Czars shut down any website until it proves its innocence.”

Could be a win-win.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/entertainmentnewsbuzz/2012/01/obama-could-lose-some-support-in-hollywood-over-sopa.html

Two senior entertainment executives and Obama donors, who declined to speak on the record, said they would not give the president’s reelection effort further financial support because of his opposition to key parts of the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and the Protect Intellectual Property Act (PIPA).

The two bills have been aggressively supported by the Motion Picture Assn. of America, which is Hollywood’s chief lobbying arm, and entertainment industry unions, as a way to combat global Internet piracy. But the two groups have received serious push back from a coalition of top Internet companies that argue the proposed bills are poorly designed and don’t have adequate civil liberties protections.

I would answer your question, but I’m protesting SOPA today.

You don't know because the mainstream media has been hiding these bills from the public.

These bills are the worst attack against freedom and liberty that I have seen.

Hollywood and the mainstream media and Congress are the enemy of individuals, the enemy of the American people and the enemy of freedom.

Google is protesting these bills. click on the black box to read more about it.

Lamar Smith is the one who started these bills PIPA and SOPA and it has another bill as a backup in case these fail. This backup bill he says aims to “protect children against pornography” but is really these same bills. Lamar Smith is an evil villain and needs to go. Also boycott hollywood , the mainstream media, and Congressmen that are for SOPA or PIPA.

I’ve been boycotting Hollyweird for years by not going to see any of their filth they pass off as entertainment. I feel so righteous. :)

Get with the program would ya? It’s just easier to rip someone to shreds than to try to understand the viewpoint or situation.

Sheesh
