What can an armorer do to improve my M1A? It’s stock I shoot sub 1” @100yrds, seems fine to me as I am not in a competition or trying to shoot Somalians on a bobbing boat. But hey, if something can improve my groupings I’ll try it. I wouldn't mess with it. If it'll hold 1" @ 100, try for 5" [or better!] at 300. That said, the next usual steps are a NM reaming of the front of the flash hider [useful if firing in rain] and a decent trigger job- though it sounds like yours is quite okay for you.
