Survivor: One World is the 24th season of Survivor. It begins Wednesday, February 15, 2012 on CBS at 8/7c.
'Survivor: One World': New cast and new twists revealed!
There will be no returning players this season.
As with last season, this season will take place in Upolu, Samoa. Along with Survivor 19 (Samoa) and Survivor 20 (Heroes vs. Villains), this is the fourth season to take place at this location.
Both tribes will begin the season by living at the same camp site.
The tribes will be divided between men (Manono) and women (Salani).
Each tribe will have a Hidden Immunity Idol for them at camp, but the holder of the Idol can not use it for themselves or for their tribemates. Instead, the idol can only be given to a member of the opposing tribe to use.
Leif is the first little person contestant.
Monica is the wife of a former NFL football player.
Manono Tribe: Bill, Colton, Greg, Jay, Jonas, Leif, Matt, Michael, Troy
Salani Tribe: Alicia, Chelsea, Christina, Kat, Kim, Kourtney, Monica, Nina, Sabrina

As for next week - there's at least two swingers out there, so the guys could still get the upper hand even without Tarzan voting with them.
Though, really, probably the easiest person to flip in the game would be Kat. ‘If you vote the way we want, I'll tell you how to keep your appendix from bursting. You wouldn't want to go out like Colton, now, would you?’
What really gets me wondering, though, is what is going on with the production staff? Was this supposed to be an elimination week? Were they going to merge the tribes at 13 people? Or was the merge supposed to happen at 12, and they just jumped it up? Seems to me that it'd be far easier to eliminate an individual challenge (one that's not yet built) vs a team challenge which should be built and ready to go.
I don't know. At the end of the day, for me, it really seems like the production staff wakes up from boozing it up to go, ‘oh, s***, we gotta do something survivorish today!’
LOL!!! She'd probably buy into that too! How dumb can a person be? What's an appendix and how do I keep mine from bursting? geez
Did you notice how she looked around as if it was a disease she could catch from someone.
This has been one of the best moments in Survivor History. The Queen of Vile spewing that someone could just jump in a fire and be medivaced and then a few short minutes later The Queen is writhing in pain having to be medivaced.
Here is another tidbit of info that I am seeing. At some point a producer stepped in and told Colton he couldn’t give away his idol after the decision had been made to medivac him out because he was out of the game and couldn’t influence it.
I doubt he would have given it away anyway. In his mind there was no one deserving enough to have it other than himself. I wonder if Sabrina ever regretted giving it to him?
Why should he be able to keep it? That just made no sense. He's out but not the idol. The idol should have been left in the game. Also, agree that the production crew just threw together the merge at the last minute which also made no sense. They had just had a tribe switch so why another one so soon? No, no sense in having the merge at this point. And what was with Colton sitting there all healthy giving his confessional to the camera about being ill? Either he didn't have an appendicitis attack or something else happened we don't know about. No one else has had a confessional after being carted off. Nothing made sense this episode. Even Kat made no sense as no one could be that stooooooopid.
I would say he was not told he could not give it away. Alicia similar pretty ticked off at him for not giving her the II. If they had told him “No” she would have been more “Oh, well”.
As to him sitting there - I looked and it appeared he was cleaner than he was when medivaced. I’d say they took his cloths at the hospital and put them back on him a few days later and set him in a place with a matching green background.

Eliminated: Bill, Colton, Kourtney, Matt, Monica, Nina
Immunity Idol status: Sabrina found an idol and gave it to Colton. Colton kept the idol for himself when he was removed from the game. Kim found an idol and told Chelsea about it.

It would be really funny if he wound up with just an attack and they did not have to do surgery. Either gas or just full of sh!t.
True, but why do the confessional at all? It didn’t add anything to the episode but just another weird moment.
We’re down to 12 contestants so they could have waited another week before the merge. Letting these new tribes form some alliances first.
Has anyone seen the men’s tote bags? The women have matching blue ones but I haven’t seen the men’s. I’m still curious about the totes because we’ve never seen the show give them anything other than matching buffs.
Sure, you scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream but the smart survivor should have limited their ice cream, picked the fruit from the toppings and munched down big time on the mixed nuts. The candies and sprinkles won’t do anything for their strength.
Kept it - until just out of camera range and staff took it from him.
Survivor is real tight on keepsakes just because of “auctions”.
