Mafia ? (Il zotto di pazzo)

Posted on 02/01/2012 3:44:24 PM PST by chrismac

It might be connected with the strange goings on around here : Our car stolen, with $4000 of damage; Our neighbour's healthy rabbit dying unexpectedly; Our neighbour's letterbox being destroyed; Curious spam emails about las vegas; The odd curious phone call; Faeces being smeared on our church Car windows smashed and things taken at church - they now have patrols as a result Breakin at church and organ damaged. Mysterious deaths of stars, such as Heath Ledger, Brittany and her husband, Michael Jackson, David Carradine, and others : http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2010/05/24/what-killed-brittanys- husband.html http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/31103217/ns/today-entertainment/t/david- carradine-found-dead-thailand-hotel/

Connect the dots if you dare, to see the truth.

I wouldn’t have watched 46 episodes of “Lie to Me” if I didn’t like it ;-). We have plenty of other choices on Netflix. It’s quite fascinating. Over time, the plots tended to get more “typical crime drama,” with less originality, but I still like the characters.

"You could grow some plant/plants. "

Plants can be grown in almost any climate, with the proper preparations.

The light levels will be adequate. What is needed is a means of elevating the ambient temperatures.

This is akin to the problem of finding comfortable shelter in any climate; the key is Earth-sheltering and insolation.

If you were building a house, I would say, dig deep, and insulate well. "Insolation" means how much sunlight you collect.

The rules for a "greenhouse" are slightly different. It's almost impossible to insulate effectively enough to overnight your plants without supplemental heat.

The best you can do is to earth-shelter by using a "pit" greenhouse. This means digging down at least four feet, building your greenhouse above the pit, and collecting solar energy in the walls of the pit. This can work surprisingly well, and with the right selection of plants, could provide you with fresh vegetables throughout the winter and summer.

You might choose to build against the south wall of your house, if that works out for you.

You do need sufficient space for the greenhouse, but it needn't be all that large.

No, I never watch them. I used to have a bunch of “celebrity” clients, and I got my belly full: )

"... and a Ford F250 to pull my boat."

Ya know, if you put the boat in the water, it doesn't take as much effort to make it move.

I'm just sayin'.

Reminiscing, thinking of the old Dimensional Doors/Freeoples threads.
And recalling those who are no longer with us.
Some of you are aware that we no longer have Cardy and tiapam.
Others, may not know.

Was wandering through the old threads and felt.. nostalgic.

Pretty cool - this last one. The Portuguese subtitles must have been done by Babelfish or some other automatic translator, because they’re hysterically garbled.

Atmospheric, if one’s in the mood for that sort of thing.

It also fits under the “Songs dedicated to people by their stalkers” category.

This isn’t bad, but the vocalist from late-period Kansas (Elefante?) had a sharper, more-focused tone on the high notes. This singer sounds a little vague, in comparison.

Their drummer is keeping time, though. I think that’s very important! My band, El Grupo Alabare’, has two weeks before our next performance: we can make our drummer practice, for a change!

Lacuna Coil with Cristina Scabbia.
She looks more normal in other videos.
I’ll try to find one.

That was a cover by the band Nouveaux.
They were short lived, but they did do some nice songs.
