Have to agree with you ~ I've seen almost all of them and this really is one of the best.

The one I liked the most was when Prince improvised and added songs to the list while they were being "Purple Rained" out down in Florida.

He has had a whale of a lot of hit songs and there they were.

Madonna has added more electronics and I suppose that's now a standard for the higher priced concerts for any of them these days.

I don’t think it was so bad either...but I probably missed a lot - came in when she was wearing the brown boots...so don’t know what went before.

Lipsynced, over produced choreography, and a “controversial” celebrity..who needs talent?

This is also the 3rd year in a row where the NFL showcases Detroit..

My local TV station went dark the moment the gold leaves parted to reveal Madonna. Can’t say I was disappointed but it was interesting. I went to 60 minutes for a while. Got back for the last song.

Lotta show, and not much else, didn’t see more than two minutes anyway.

Not sure if I was seeing things, but did I see that one black chick in that one song look right at the camera and flip the bird? A half second later the video glitched like they tried, but missed trying to censor it.

agree....not a Madonna fan but thought it wasn’t bad, especially compared to some of the crap they’ve recently had at halftime...it did go down hill starting with the idiot cheerleader bit...

I thought that she didn’t put in enough effort and was merely going through the motions. The dancing on her part was not crisp, nor was it particularly complicated.

That video board on the base of the stage was pretty cool. Nice effects. Madonna is what she is. I thought the halftime show was fairly decent. There are more talented people playing in some liberal coffeehouses all across America. But I think Madonna is awesome how she plays the media like a fiddle. I wish the Republican Party had the media savvy that Madonna has. They are all a whores to a certain extent. Madonna is a master at manipulating the media, I give her a lot of credit for that.

Prince was my favorite half time show too.

This was visually attractive.

Madonna almost fell off thos raised steps early in the show.

Shame she doesn’t have a more powerful voice, it was thin.

I agree with you. I thought she was going to really homo the thing up and prance around in her underwear, but it was timid compared to what I thought it would be. I think most women her age would be happy to move as well as she does too.

She's actually too old to be doing acrobatics. The inner ear begins to deteriorate quite early ~ I'm surprised the choreographer allowed her to get that involved.

It's time for the Tina Turner ploy ~ MORE DANCERS!

Anyway, loved the electronics ~ kid who grew up across the street turned into one of those world-class DJs who travels around with a show rather like that.

He's done shows featuring Madonna ~ so what you see in something like this isn't necessarily "Madonna and her entourage", but more like "billy's light show featuring so and so and a muppet act about a former pop star, with the muppet being the former star herself in a star suit".

Next, total robotics.

I liked the special effects and her old songs but her dancing was not what I’ve seen her do in the past, skill wise anyways; silly and super simple choreography but she’s too old now I guess to do the fancy stuff.

Yes, exactly what I said. She was making me a nervous wreck for her.

Pretty decent show. Sad, when it takes Madonna to bring the degeneracy level DOWN.

I think you are right....I was going to avoid it, but my husband was watching....so decided to...the special effects were good, and there wasn’t much of any smut....a step up for Super Bowl halftimes...IMHO....like my husband says, at least you can basically understand what she’s singing.

Yeah, I didn't think it was bad at all --and I'm not much of a Madonna fan. Far better than the Stones a few years back who phoned in one of the lousiest shows ever (and I've always been a Stones fan).

My favorite halftime show ever:
