Actually it is what they’ve claimed. They’ve always felt the rest of Christianity has it wrong and that their new revolation corrects our errors in the essential nature of Christanity.

I assume those are the basic questions and normally I’d assume supporting these keep you in good standing provided the leadership doesn’t know something that disqualifies you which I suppose would including failure to tithe (don’t know for sure). MY wife does know one LDS member who had his card pulled and excommunicated for a public fight with the Bishop that he continued after he’d been told to zip it.
