It's an exciting time for air travel enthusiasts. Billionaire developer Paul Allen recently unveiled designs for his company's Stratosphere plane, which is designed to take passengers on commercial voyages above Earth's orbit.

Hmm, above Earth's orbit. This one I have got to see. I suppose it will be a good view from over the pole of the sun.

Originally I was going to slam them for the Above Earth Orbit comment. But then I looked up the project and with the air launch system the Dragon can in theory reach escape velocity. So yes they will get above Earth orbit. But it look like it will be more useful in just getting big stuff into orbit rather than small cargoes to escape velocity.
