according to certain insider, the rise and fall of the GOP candidates is manipulated by you-know-who and gang. It is ‘pump and dump’ and we are falling for it. We are fighting amongst ourselves, making them very happy, making ourselves the laughing stock, depressing voter turn-out,
de-agitating people against obozo - turn people back to obozo!

2 months ago, out of nowhere, Stephenapolis grilled Santorum about ‘contraception’ in a debate, then obozo brought this up and lures Santorum into this dialogue and ‘pumps’ him up. Like all the others before him, he will be dumped.

Wonder if Rush knows something about this - he just said when Santorum fades, Gingrich will rise again...

But then maybe Romney will be the last one to rise just in time to be the nominee? (i.e. if they want Romney )....

Don’t shoot me I am just reporting what I read.

I do think we must vote against obozo, because if he stays there, he will place 2 more Supreme court judges and then it does not matter if we have majority in the House and Senate! Plus all his czars and ‘agencies’ and acorn and union thugs.............

Problem you have is that isn’t what Rush said. He said there is still a chance for Newt, it isn’t over.

He did not say Santorum would tank and Newt would rise.

You seem to forget that RINOS and dhimmyrats could prefer to have Romney or Santorum rather than Gingrich.

The MSM , the rats and RINOS certainly wanted Romney...I think that they don’t fear Santorum

I know they don’t fear Romney ot Newt, Their biggest fear is Santorum.

Why do you think Chris Matthews would be sticking up for Newt?

He does because they would like him as an opponent.

You know this how? Based on what?

Why do you think Chris Matthews would be sticking up for Newt?

How so?

He does because they would like him as an opponent.

As they were pushing Romney???

"Newt is finished if he loses Georgia. It’s a Santorum/Romney race."

Newt said any candidate that loses his home state should quit. (Newt isn't going to lose GA).

Will Romney quit if he loses MI as the polls show he likely will lose? He can't get over 30% in any state outside his home states, despite spending over $100 million already.

In 2006, Santorum lost re-election in his home-state of PA by 18% in one of the biggest loses ever by an incumbent since the birth of the Republic.

Al Gore lost the Presidency with his defeat in his home state of TN in 2000.

I agree with Newt that any candidate that can't win his own state should drop out.

Anything could happen yet. What Rush said today is that he intends to support whoever the nominee is.

Actually, no...I'm not comparing Newt and Santorum. I'm comparing Newt and DUmocrats:

It all sounds good untill you dig a little deeper than Newt's talking points pushed from his campaign.

He certainly has accomplished alot...moving the ball for the progressive agenda. He co-sponsored the Global Warming Prevention Act of 1989, supported “Cap and Trade”, lobbied for ethanol subsidies, and wants to expand and rebrand the EPA. He supported NAFTA, GATT, the IMF, foreign aid, TARP, voted for increasing the debt ceiling many times, and earmarks SPIKED under his “leadership”.

He’s a BIG GOVERNMENT guy...not a fiscal conservative. Newt calls the Paul Ryan budget plan "right wing social engineering". He supported spending $30B for the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994 that shackled gun owners with new restrictions, federalized a number of crimes, and handed the feds police powers that the Constitution reserves to the states.

Newt cosponsored the 1987 Fairness Doctrine (anti 1st Amendment legislation) and voted for the anti-gun Brady Campaign’s Lautenberg Gun Ban. He want amnesty for illegals, props up Al Sharpton and Hitlery Clinton and sings the praises of his mentor, Slick Willie.

He has cozied up with the leftist agenda far too many times to be considered having the conservative record he claims. What's "conservative" about that?

I find it hilarious that it appears the majority of straw polls and debate polls, etc, that Romney is always being beat out by someone else.

NO ONE WANTS ROMNEY!!! No True Conservative that is. And I take it as a good sign, that someone else is beating him in all the polls (and most debates). It’s about damn time WE pick our candidate and not the “establishment”.

I for one, like Santorum and feel most comfortable with him, out of the candidates. I may not agree with him on every issue, but I feel like he’s someone we can trust, more so than the others, and I don’t feel like I’ll have to hold my nose to vote for him.

"Pretty sure Rick has caught Newt in Georgia."

Rick's Big Government voting record won't play very well in GA. I applaud many of Rick's votes on social issues, but his voting record on fiscal issues is not conservative.

Ron Paul will win VA. Romney can’t top 50% in any state outside of MA & UT. They exaggerated his numbers in the NV caucus to barely top 50% with heavy Mormon vote..

...it will go to a brokered convention

Maybe Sarah Palin will jump in , and maybe that is why she seems to be encouraging a Brokered Convention. Does anyone think this is why Palin has not endorsed anyone and said during the summer she was not going to run? Maybe she figured she would save millions in campaign money; keep out of the fray and out of the attacks the media would have concocted. That is until she had the whole GOP uniting behind her because they had offered no clear winner that the American public could support and turned to her as a person who has proved her ability to unite Conservatives and Independents alike.

It could get interesting if this happens, and I would not be at all surprised if that was not her plan. She is a pretty crafty, patient lady. And she seems to be particularly fond of Allen West's leadership and political acumen. Hmmmm!

OHHhhh Did your Guy say Mitt Romney was the BEST Conservative to win in 2008?

I would not be surprised to have Santurom indorse Mitt Romney when he loses this race.

Straw Polls are meaningless. Straw polls are votes with non binding results.
