Doing fine? Santorum has never been fully vetted like other candidates. He’s an electroal disaster if you look at his history objectively. Losing an election by 18 points as a 2-term senator would normally disqualify anybody from running again. He somehow became a frontrunner ??

Sharron Angle, Christine O’Donnell and now this santorum nutjobs. Conservatives have nobody but themselves to blame by selecting these mad dogs.

You got that right, santorum is Mr. Rogers without a spine. He was an establishment lap dog in the senate. After Newt took him under his wing, santorum turned on him and stabbed him in the back. Then to add insult to injury, santorum tries to take credit for Newt's accomplishments in the house.

Seriously? Mad dog like Santorum? Never vetted? He was a U.S. Senator for 16 years, did he just slip into that office without being vetted?

I’ll tell you what I told the other Newtonian, you’re only going to succeed in driving off Santorum supporters from Newt with these attacks. Is that your goal?

“Losing an election by 18 points as a 2-term senator would normally disqualify anybody from running again.”

And all the blather from the Rickites can't erase that fact. Granted, 2006 was an anti-GOP year, but, 18%? That's a GIANT, LOUD “F**K YOU” to Santorum.

Like I said a week or two back to someone else, if an 18% loss enhances a candidate, then Blanche Lincoln should be running for POTUS for the Rats, she might help them win AR.

Simply being, or having been a US Senator normally disqualifies someone from becoming president.

Senators Who Became President

To date, sixteen senators have also served as president of the United States. Only three senators, Warren G. Harding, John F. Kennedy, and Barack Obama moved directly from the U.S. Senate to the White House.

I haven’t yet decided who I’m voting for on Tuesday - not Romeny, but, the Freepers on here are turning me off to Newt with their constant put downs of Rick. No, I’m not necessarily a Santorum supporter - (I was for Rick Perry), but, I see far more civility coming from Santorum supporters.

Come on Newt people - think before you speak and possibly destroy your candidate with your nastiness.

I may still vote for Newt - won’t know until I get in the voting booth tomorrow.
