Did you read the list? Some of these guys are General Authorities and High Councilmen. I’m not sure where you’re trying to go with this, but it’s way off base.

My father was a very active temple Mormon, and he was active duty.

In the case of my brother, he served a mission, then went to BYU and was involved in an ROTC program there, then he joined the Navy as a junior officer, eventually being promoted to Captain, his current rank. I’m not a ‘temple Mormon,’ but he still is.

It is very unsual is what I am getting at and during the draft a lot of Mormons didn’t serve esp if they could get a draft exemption. Romney is proof.
