Ranch hands tried to run over starving dog for fun

Southern California - Meet Hank - a dog who was abandoned, left to fend for himself and then subjected to abuse by people who should have tried to help, rather than inflict harm.

Hank found himself alone on a ranch in Southern California several months ago.

Some of the workers at the ranch looked to the woebegone dog as a source of entertainment. How, one might wonder, could a stray dog in need of help provide entertainment?

To the individuals who are lacking of a conscience - apparently lacking of a soul - that entertainment came in the form of their vehicles and his body.

According to the woman who rescued Hank, the bored ranch hands would spend their spare time each night by trying to run Hank over with their trucks.

It is impossible to know the fear that Hank felt on those nights - running for his life from crazy people behind the wheel of deadly machinery.

Without a doubt, those moments he survived were filled with sheer terror.
