SAN DIEGO (CBS) A Southland high school teacher was on leave Tuesday after a 14-year-old student claimed she was forced to urinate in a bucket after the teacher refused her request to use the restroom.
KNX 1070′s Tom Reopelle reports school officials with Patrick Henry High School in San Diego are investigating the allegations.
A claim filed against both the school and the San Diego Unified School District alleged that art teacher Gonja Wolf prohibited the unidentified student from leaving the classroom despite her insistence that the request was urgent.
Wolf allegedly directed the girl to use a bucket located in a small room adjacent to the class, according to a statement from principal Patricia Crowder.

I saw a photo, this person appears to be a man with a very odd name.
Are you surprised at all? This is the publick skools after all.
Based on the comments at ratemyteacher, the students don’t respect her and she has difficulty maintaining classroom disicpline.
An insecure teacher who believes that a certain class is untrustworthy (and who, knowing that some high school students like to use “bathroom breaks” as smoke/drug/alcohol/insert prohibited behavior “breaks”, is very likely to over-react and do something stupid.
Gonja is a woman.
I think the jury is out on that... based on the photo.
I’d asked him to hold the bucket, then whipped it out... and pissed all over him.
When confronted, I’d just say he ordered me to piss in a bucket and I missed. Whoops!
‘Gonja is a woman.’
I beg to differ.
I see a man with long hair.
Some kids just want to get out of class.
Man its kalifornia, how can you tell?????
Betcha “it” wanted to watch.
Public schools = prisons.
If he’d said “piss in a bucket”, it would have been very unscholastic.
It’s either a transvestite or a God awful UGLY woman.
Little different for a girl...
Can’t say I blame them. It’s easier and safer for a student today to just homeschool. A student doesn’t have to be at the mercy of some egomaniacal jerk who gets to decide if you can go to the bathroom or not and offers you a bucket when a restroom is just down the hall and would be the better choice.
Parents and kids should wake up, especially after this story. You don’t need to go to a public school to get an education anymore, folks. Public schools are becoming passe, as well as increasingly, well, weird.
