Secret Service Spies on Free Republic (no kidding)
Free Republic Thread in Feb 17, 2012 ^ | 3 16 2012 | garjog

Posted on 03/16/2012 10:30:17 PM PDT by garjog

Just reading "New Details on NSA‘s ’Spy Center‘ and Secrets From Domestic Eavesdropping Operation ’Stellar Wind’-- The Blaze/ March 16, 2012" http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2860168/posts

reminded me that I wanted to report to you all that the Secret Service spied on a post I set up to report on Obama using the athletic fields of our university here on the eastside of Seattle.

On Feb. 17 Obama made one of his frequent fundraising visits, this time to Washington State to shake down a couple billionaires who live near by. He spoke at Boeing in the morning, then flew to Kirkland.

The trip was a means to raise money for his re-election and was totally funded by taxpayers. SEVEN choppers and what seemed like a about 100 troops.

A couple weeks before the Secret Service contacted our small university, where I work, and asked if we would be willing to let the President use our fields to land seven choppers, including Marine One and Two.

The University agreed. So the day of classes on Friday, Feb. 17 was hopeless. The campus was like an armed military base as soon as the Black Hawks landed. It was so exciting, students didn't want to go to classes. It was like a free day.

Anyway I posted a thread inviting area Freepers to protest. We didn't know the details of exactly when he would arrive, so I kept an update for anyone interested.

Then at post number 15 comments by a user named "NU Grad" appeared. Hmmm. I didn't remember that user name before. He sounded like he was aware of the events and so I figured, OK, a former student in the area is a Freeper and got pinged for Washington State.

But, no. This guy was a Secret Service Troll pretending to be associated with Northwest University. He signed up on Feb. 17. I didn't think of checking when he became a member until later when I figured it out.

Before I realized he was a Government Troll, I Freeper mailed "NU Grad" and told him my name and asked him when he graduated just in case he was a former student who I knew personally. (Stupid me).

No response.

I am sure it was espionage because the admin was told that the Secret Service wanted to monitor our email system.

It would be logical that they would also do some kind of Internet key word monitoring as well.

They had a balcony on a building near the fields packed with some kind of electrical equipment. Guess to dampen road side bombs or something.

We saw snipers and plain clothed agents in the bushes or walking around looking like "students" with back packs, but they were too old to pull it off. Must have been about 8 snipers on the roofs and crouching around corners of buildings.

I mean, I am glad that these guys are doing their job to protect the President. It is impressive that they are so thorough.

But, it is kind of creepy that they pretended to be one of us just to monitor what we were saying.

(NOTE: If I go missing and end up in a secret prison somewhere you know what happened.)

You can screw with them if you know how to do it. Messing up their keyword searches is one way.

WHatever this helo was for it was most definitely NOT Marine One. It may have had secret service or other personnel in it. Single pilot, way too small a craft, and while I know that Marine One is whatever the Pres flies in this would not have been carrrying any Pres.

But the rest of your post was interesting.

DU actually had their own watcher, “Agent Mike”. During Bush’s second inauguration, DU posters were asking how to make a gun out of a camera. I believe their board went “private” for a few days. I’m sure that all forums are watched. It really IS necessary.

So he was a troll, but SS? I think you have an excellent imaginative mind. there is more than enough to see this person might have been a troll, but not Secret Service. Not from what I am seeing. By the way of course they monitor these sights and possibly in this case locked into watching you, but interact. No. Not happening on this one.

That’s nothing. Back in 2009 and 10, I had all sorts of problems whenever I’d get onto an eligibility post on FR. My computer would freeze and go wonky. It never happened at any other time so I knew something was up. It was most disruptive when I’d do research into bozo’s eligibility and “they’d” wait until I was ready to hit the post button and blam! everything would disappear. I wasn’t the only one it was happening to. I eventually would include a shout out to the man behind the computer screen. During that time, I went through 2 major crashes on different computers which I blame entirely on the spy. I finally quit doing any research so “they” won and left me alone. Of course, now “they’ll” probably be back screwing with me.

Hey, has anyone heard from NaturalBorn54 or BP2? They used to post on eligibility threads but then disappeared. NaturalBorn54 and I were looking at the Seattle apt. and he/she said he/she had found that it was all a fake and that he/she was ready to publish an article proving it and that was the last time I heard from him/her. BP2 was absolutely brilliant at digging stuff up, too. There were others who disappeared during the first 2-3 years of this admin. It’s very strange that so many who were doing research and seemed involved in FR suddenly quit posting.

Actually, now that I read through the thread from 2004, it appears maybe it was the IP and then my ISP probably provided a name and phone number.

Once they have your name, I expect it's not so hard for them to find out where you work. Especially if they ask, and you answer.

If you had posted from work, their task would have been tougher. Only the more organized employers would be tracking which computer accessed which web site through the company connection.

Posting from a WiFi hotspot would be even tougher. They might get lucky interviewing the hotspot provider: Oh, yeah, there's this one guy who hangs out a table in the back sipping his latte. Doaks, I believe. Joe Doaks. Always uses his Visa card ...

On the other hand, if you post from work, from home, and from random hotspots, then it gets easy ...

I tried to find the MOGOP site through an internet search last night, being the state is caucusing today through next Sat., none of the sites I tried to get to were available. Guess I will have to find out some other way. To me that is sabotage. Maybe the powers that be don’t want any uninvited caucus goers. Just so happens I have already been asked to go to them.

Wanted to Post in breaking news, but since no html link I couldn’t get past that hurdle and gave up. I know there is a way to post personal stories, because I have done it before.

I want the President to serve one term....then lead a long, obscure, meaningless life...like Clinton. I wish him no ill.

No ill here either, just justice. I want to be watching CNN when Lt. Lakin walks him out the back door past the garbage in handcuffs on his way to Levenworth.

It used to be fun watching FOX and hearing something we posted two days earlier. I wouldn’t know about that these days since there isn’t a news channel that hasn’t gone over to the dark side.

“What you say here is read by a LOT of people. Never forget it.”

Which is PRECISELY why people should quit posting those stupid “I will vote for whoever the Republicans nominate” posts.

They have to be idiots if they think only Freepers are reading.

No but seriously: I've actually started a meme or two.

I have had a several myself. I remember waaaayyy back in '99-00 declaring that communism and fascism are bloody brothers and not distant cousins. Another, that the tactics that the left use is based on Saul Alinsky waaayyy back when. And, and, that bacon is spelled with a capital "B". There, see, I am famous...kinda sota...not really, but my meds help me anyhow.

“I’ve never doubted that anyone posting key words would get looked at. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’ve tried to develop psychological profiles based upon posts. “

I wonder how they decide who to do that to?

If they have a profile on me, they probably are grumbling about how we closed all the state mental asylums and let all the nuts out.

LOL!
