(Vanity) Seriously,Will New York & California Vote For Obama Despite $4.50 & $5.00 Gas ?

Posted on 03/17/2012 10:34:18 PM PDT by Liberals_R_BiPolar_Turkeys

Can you imagine if the deep blue states are paying between $4.00/$5.00 for a gallon of gas come October and yet they will still vote for Obama? And what if the real polls show Obama's approval in those states under 50%? You know if Obama is under water in the deep blue states, the thugs will rig the election. Especially in Illinios where Obama could lose. If New York and Cally still vote in Obama come November, safe to say both states have gone to hell?

Could they climb out of debt without massive bailouts? If not, they won’t want to paddle that creek with bare hands.

Not so. Even when Presidents are strong, Congress retains the power of the purse. And countries can and do pull back from the brink, as Britain did under Thatcher and the US did under Reagan.

It is not California that votes for BHO it is the San Francisco Bay area and the Los Angles Basin (and one or two other small areas) that vote for him, the rest of CA vote Republican. If you look at the county red/blue charts it becomes obvious that those two areas are controlling everything that happens here.

Doing a lot of vanities lately - to what purpose? They don’t make anyone think more fondly of you, although you will get more direct responses. How about saving them for when you have a real bright lightbulb go off instead of the 6th grade stuff you’re serving up?

I saw a survey recently which said that the majority of California’s voters are actually conservative or lean conservative — even today. It’s the mushy middle that has not seen the light, as they have elsewhere. I think the government, education, media and cultural blight in the state is so overwhelming, that many in the middle are bath in urine showers of propaganda.

LIberals_R_BiPolar_Turkeys don't listen to him. Vanities are the BEST part of Free Republic. Keep 'em coming.

Trebb, Why did you read/respond to a "6th" grade vanity? Weirdo. Get off hour high horse.

New York and Kalipornia will vote for Democrats if they are all standing in bread lines for hours daily for the barest rations imaginable.

That's Obama's plan in a nutshell. The longer the line, the more people feel they need the government's help.

Frightening, this "feeling" has taken root here...in the land of the rugged individualist. I guess we thought or hoped we were immune to this kind of fear.

Don't forget all of the "principled conservatives" who will sit out this election because their pet candidate didn't win the nomination.

The "principled conservative" is the RATS' secret weapon and they can always be counted on to be willing to be played like a cheap banjo.

Correct. Price of gas does not matter where the drones outnumber the worker bees. The only thing that matters is whether they can mate with the queen and how much free stuff they can get.

Worked for FDR. He made a bad situation much worse and blamed his Republican predecessor, aided and abetted by the press.

If they’re forced to get rid of their cars, live in rabbit hutches, ride bicycles or walk to work (if they have a job), they’ll stll vote for Obama. These people have all been drugged with the leftist dream of something for nothing. They still hope The Great Spreader will deliver for them.

As I understand PA’s voter ID law, poll workers may “ask” to see ID, but voters may refuse to show it and still be permitted to vote.

So the law has no teeth but may, at the least, discourage fraud because it would put a person on the spot and arouse the suspicions of the poll workers and other voters if ID were not provided when asked.

I still think the Holder DOJ will challenge this law because they will claim it is voter intimidation, even though no one is required to show ID in order to case a vote.

He’ll promise them a bailout for their state, so the rest of us will pay for CA’s profligacy.
