Full title: Couple met and married within a month and stayed together for 65 years... only to be parted after home invader beat wife to death
An 85-year-old woman was sexually assaulted and battered to death by a home invader who also shot her 90-year-old husband in the face with a BB gun. Nancy and Bob Strait, who had celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in December, were discovered by their daughter at their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Both the pensioners were rushed to hospital where Mrs Strait, who was nearly blind, died from her injuries.
Mr Strait, who served in the 101st Airborne Division in World War II, suffered a broken jaw, broken ribs and severe bleeding. He is in a serious condition in hospital. Police have arrested 20-year-old Tyrone Dale David Woodfork in connection with the case.
The home invaders made off with their Dodge Neon, a television and $200. Woodfork was later found hiding in a nearby house after a witness spotted the stolen vehicle being driven down the road.

Before I got to the name of the perp, I knew what race he was. When I read the name “Tyrone” I would have bet the farm he was one of Holder’s people.

They should also charge him with the death of the kid in Florida...he should be the one wondering around a neighborhood in Florida

I don’t understand why there is no mention of the fact that Tyrone is actually a good boy who was turning his life around. He only fell in with the wrong crowd. The photo is really unflattering. I U.S. paper would find a graduation photo of him in cap and gown. Where is the U.S. coverage?

"Northeastern Oklahoma" is a nice place to live with the best of rural and urban life. Unfortunately the worst also.
Around here, most clear-thinking people have at least one gun in the house "just in case", especially veterans of Mr. Strait's generation. I don't know, I've only read the news reports, but I'm going to assume that either Mr. Strait had a weapon in the house but wasn't able to get to it, or it's possible that he had gotten frail enough that he wasn't able to use a weapon - he and his wife had been convinced by their family to move into an assisted living center.
The move was planned for the day after Mrs. Strait was murdered.
Oh yeah one other thing... the comments section at the Channel 6 website have been scrubbed... there were lots of uh, candid remarks about the uh, societal influences that produce this kind of stuff...
The comment that I would add is that this white couple had lived in north Tulsa minding their own business for 65 years without trouble from anyone - and then this punk comes along. I hope he's not related to anyone that I might know.

At this moment (1125am ET) Laura Ingraham is talking about the Zimmerman case and comparing it to the non-coverage of the white kid doused in gasoline and lit on fire in Kansas City. KC is also known for “the knockout game,” which also has received zero MSM media coverage.
I wish Laura would mention these other cases.
There’s a reason why the majority of prison populations are “minorities.” Even though they’r sentenced more leniently than whites, they commit a disproportionate number of crimes. But of course reporting that and rampant welfare fraud, etc. doesn’t fit the MSM agenda
