OK, survey time:
When someone asks you a question starting with “Do you know...” are you tempted to answer “No, but hum a few bars and I’ll fake it”?
Or is that just something I picked up from my family?
My dad and grandparents used to say that all the time but it didn’t take with us. When I saw this WFTD, I thought of all the spam I get about WEN hair. I have no idea what it is; I just hit delete.
Well, next time you’ll have to look at the spam. Maybe it’s about big city hair. Or about sebaceous cysts.

I didn’t mean to be gross or to bring down the level of discourse in this thread - it was, IMO, an accurate assessment of the nature of the current Admin and the danger to our Freedoms posed by its continuance in office. If I have offended, I apologize.

no, but xshub found a friend who can advise him. he’s been immobilized by not really knowing how to go about it. the friend is a former liberal turned conservative, so that alone is pretty noteworthy. xsteen’s boyfriend took xsboy shooting the week before last, when he was home on break. he loved it.
A range that has rentals would be the best bet. Unless this friend has a good variety of guns for him to try out. If not the particular model, he can at least get a feel for the caliber and style he likes most.
