Two teachers caught taunting disabled boy, 10, as 'gross' and 'disgusting' after his mother bugged his wheelchair with recording device
Two Alabama teachers were caught cruelly taunting and abusing a 10-year-old boy who has celebral palsy after the boys mother attached an audio recorder to his wheelchair.
The shocking recording captures two voices chiding Jose Salinas for his disgusting drooling and reveals he was left alone with no instruction for long periods of time.

They deserve to be fired, post-haste.
Reminds me of Omoslem mocking the Special Olympics on Jay Leno’s show.
Just after a server beating.
Just awful...I hope the parents get a good lawyer and sue the socks off both the teachers and the school system.
Sometimes it seems like the only news organizations that will cover American gov’t employees behaving badly is the British press.
countdown til the teachers file suit for unauthorized electronic eavesdropping....three...two...
I’d be fine with you using a server to beat them.
“The teachers accused, Drew Faircloth and Alicia Brown, have been put on administrative leave from Wicksburg High School, Alabama, where Jose is in the fourth grade.”
High school and fourth grade? I’m a bit confused by this.
Isn’t Alabama a right-to-work state? If so, then I don’t think a teacher’s union is the problem. The head of the school district must be protecting the 2 POS teachers.
Oops ... severe, even though using a server to do it would be just fine. LOL!
Can you imagine an adult doing such a thing?
Especially large rack-mount servers dropped from a tall building. :=)
I know I wouldn’t.
I don’t know if I’d have the internal skills to deal with somebody so severly disabled, on a daily basis for 8 hours a day, but I know laughing at them is something I wouldn’t do.
Are you talking about a quad CPU HP 1U rackmount? Or Juan, who just got off work from the restaurant and is having a beer with me? Because Juan is shaking his head no.
My preference is something that you’re about to take offline anyway.
Or the plonkers that made fun of the kid.
They do need to feel some shame and some pain.
When ostensible adults (in age only) do this, it's because they haven't grown up. Or are just too mean to live.
AL is a one party state...and there must be an expectation of privacy.
Don’t think there can be a lawsuit.
Probably because they're still operating with the basic idea in mind that NEWS should actually be reported, not hidden or manufactured.
Both Brown and Faircloth are non-tenured employees. The Houston County School Board will discuss employee contracts on April 9. Pitchford said the board could possibly non-renew their contracts. Under the new Students First Law, the board could end Browns contract immediately, and end Faircloths employment with a 15-day notice, Pitchford said.
Hey, I’d like to see them bugged.
Toss them in a closet and dump 10 gallons of scarabs on em....
Our Nation has lost its way.
Ther was a time if 2 idiots as these teachers were, got caught doing this they would have been lucky to not get an ass whooping from a parent. They would have been fired and never placed in a potion of care over children again.
Actually, I don't believe that is the case.
I think that Pravda and the UK media publish things the American Media won't, just as the American Media will publish something about another country that their media won't allow.
Most non-US media give their public the graphic truth about some things. Heck, their commercials are racy, to say the least. But their media is just as controlled by the ruling elite/government/royal family as the US media is when it comes to protecting their source of income. Political dirty laundry and Detergent sales from Ads in the media are their way of life. No sensationalism, no interest. No sales. Bad.
During the riots in the Middle East, Al Jazeera was giving live feeds, and the host allowed the guest speakers to complete their points. It was, from what I watched, the most honest portrayal of the event.
But would I trust anything they said about the government/religion of any Muslim dominated countries, under the control of the mullahs (church government)? Nope. Because if they told the truth, they'd be executed.
I might add, the same type of thing happens over here.
Probably a k -12 school that goes by high school.
If they do get fired, it will not be for doing what they did, it will be for getting caught. But they won't be fired, they will only be transferred to another school.
No, they DESERVE to have their butts kicked by a group of parents from this school who know this kid. That is what they DESERVE. Firing should have been automatic and a no-brainer.
Beat the teachers with the 2700 page Obama Bill...
I love Alabama!
Once upon a time, pretty much all schools had all twelve grades in the same facility (the small, rural school I went to in South Louisiana was one of these). They are still called "high schools".
The idea of having separate facilities for different grade levels (elementary, middle school, high school) is of relatively recent vintage.
...or was. Maybe he got banned here for mocking Terri Schiavo while cheering for her murder. Today marks seven years since she died from torture inflicted on her for the "crime" of being disabled. I would be shocked to discover that these "teachers" didn't participate in the Do-The-Schiavo website.
Single payer education is child abuse. Single payer health care will just be plane abuse.
I doubt if I could throw them in the air with one hand but I would love to watch you do it.
But, but , but... We conservatives can’t be outraged, after all, its two “white” people against a hispanic boy, I heard that we automatically will support the “white” people.
“Taunting” and “Alabama” is a bad combination. That means it was cruel and likely took five times longer to accomplish it.
Thanks for explaining that. Now I understand.
Whats to think about? The teachers should have been fired immediately.
I hope that this resourceful mother pulls her child out of the public school system.
Alabama is a right to work State but for years the Teacher’s Union owned the state.
Recently that’s not the case and it’s time the schools clean house.
There are summer camps that **welcome** children of every interest and disability. Imagine that! People in the private sector who actually **like** difficult children and are **eager** to help them.
If our schools were privatized we would see the same in education. Private schools would emerge that actually like and welcome hard to educate children.
Fired? After a sound caning. I see someone already said that. We need to bring back corporal punishment for many crimes. Forget the jail time, expensive and they learn nothing good.
Caning, public, specific number of times per specific crime. It’ll work.
was ths a publik skool?
not that it really matters
I think every classroom should have cameras available to parents to watch over their kids
Especially a "Big Iron" server.
Of course, where it would be most needed, it would never be allowed.
In 14 years of private education, I've never felt the need to check up on my kids while in class.
The Teachers’ union will protect those students - oops, teachers.
