BEAUTIFUL, my GGGS is 18 days old.

I Saw God today

BTW PP is going to do a reverse 40 day prayer for pro-genocide of the unborn. Must be praying to satan. GOD knew us in the womb as He formed us.

Another praise, Dean’s gall bladder surgery was uneventful with just the lap...now he needs to get his body to relax so he can tinkle LOL Liquid diet today, soft tomorrow, then low fat after, as If I don’t already low cholesterol/sodium cook, been doing it a decade..can’t budge those gene caused numbers.

Thanks ALL for the prayers, my own condition shows no improvement...but see the wound spec on Mon.

Thats a beautiful and very sweet song, Gail!

Glad your hubby’s gall bladder lap surgery went well. My DIL’s mom had hers done last week and didn’t have to stay overnight. She did well. When I had mine about 8 years ago, I had the major surgery with a 6 in. scar. I turned yellow and green and everything. I was very sick and had to stay in the hospital a week. Mine was really bad and had many large stones, some stuck in the duct so I guess that why the serious surgery.

Going to hit the sack, everyone.

Just darling. Like I say, there’s something so innocent about bunnies. They’re like little angels, I think. Nite, nite!

God’s Unfailing Love

April 19, 2012

The Old Testament book of Hosea is the story of God’s faithful love for His unfaithful people. In what seems strange to us, the Lord commanded Hosea to marry a woman who would break her marriage vows and bring grief to him (Hosea 1:2-3). After she deserted Hosea for other men, the Lord told him to take her back—a picture of “the love of the Lord for the children of Israel, who look to other gods” (3:1).

Later, Hosea was called upon to tell the Israelites that because of their rebellion against the Lord, they would be carried away into captivity by a foreign power. “Tumult shall arise among your people, and all your fortresses shall be plundered” (10:14).

Yet in the midst of their sin and punishment, the grace of God toward His people was never exhausted. In a grace-filled exhortation, He said: “Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you” (10:12).

Even when we have “plowed wickedness” and “reaped iniquity” (10:13), God does not stop loving us. Whatever our situation today, we can turn to the Lord and find forgiveness to make a new start. His love never fails!

The Lord bestows unfailing love,
Forgiving when we fall
And then repent and turn to Him,
Responding to His call. —Sper
No force is greater than the power of God’s love.

Read: Hosea 10:9-15

Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; . . . for it is time to seek the Lord. —Hosea 10:12

HAPPY THURSDAY TO AMY’S PLACE!

Red Hanrahan’s Song About Ireland

The old brown thorn-trees break in two high over Cummen Strand,
Under a bitter black wind that blows from the left hand;
Our courage breaks like an old tree in a black wind and dies,
But we have hidden in our hearts the flame out of the eyes
Of Cathleen, the daughter of Houlihan.

The wind has bundled up the clouds high over Knocknarea,
And thrown the thunder on the stones for all that Maeve can say.
Angers that are like noisy clouds have set our hearts abeat;
But we have all bent low and low and kissed the quiet feet
Of Cathleen, the daughter of Houlihan.

The yellow pool has overflowed high up on Clooth-na-Bare,
For the wet winds are blowing out of the clinging air;
Like heavy flooded waters our bodies and our blood;
But purer than a tall candle before the Holy Rood
Is Cathleen, the daughter of Houlihan.

William Butler Yeats

I thought you might be working on the Freepathon today! When F.R. was on again, I was upstairs doing little bits at a time and resting a little bit. You know how that works.

I also loved your English bluebells. I noticed the large roots on the big tree also!

HAPPY THURSDAY TO AMY’S PLACE!

Down By The Salley Gardens

Down by the salley gardens my love and I did meet;
She passed the salley gardens with little snow-white feet.
She bid me take love easy, as the leaves grow on the tree;
But I, being young and foolish, with her would not agree.

In a field by the river my love and I did stand,
And on my leaning shoulder she laid her snow-white hand.
She bid me take life easy, as the grass grows on the weirs;
But I was young and foolish, and now am full of tears.

William Butler Yeats
