Right!

FWIW, I don’t think you’ve posted it for quite some time now. I forgot how good I looked!

Better than yesterday. I was able to sleep last night without pain, because of the Percocet, and it’s less sore today, although still hard to turn my head to the right.

Epic Fail Lawn Service mowed, finally. He needs to go to the eye doctor at 2:00, so I should get some lunch and work on a shopping list. They’re all nagging me to go to Walmart again.

I’m glad to hear that you’re feeling better. Use some moist heat, even for five minutes. It will help, I promise!

Good luck at Walmart!

I just broke my sewing machine. Time to get a new one! If the girls are going to learn to sew, a quirky 1970s Singer isn’t the best tool, anyway.

I have quirky 1970’s Singer that doesn’t do reverse...I can send it for the grills to learn on...

When I was in Jr High, in Home Ec, we had to learn to sew on the Singer treadle machines before we could use the new electric Singers. I was SO far ahead the rest of the class, even on a treadle, that the late Mrs Liddle gave me a D for a final grade.

By that time, I hade made a dress, two blouses, a dress and matching shirt for me and my boyfriend at the time, a skirt and another blouse.

Mrs. Liddle hated me. How DARE I, a 7th grader, do better work than she, who had had four years of college?! LOL!

Next time you visit, you can teach the girls about sewing! Or Pat ...

My old Singer was reliable in the 1970s, but it’s been unpredictable in the last decade. We can get a new one that’s sure to work for the cost of having it cleaned and tuned up, and our needs are very basic. Sally wants to make pillows for our neighbor’s children.

Tom decided he didn’t want contact lenses after all, so we ordered him a new pair of glasses. It will be good for him to have an extra pair. I also made appointments for the girls for next week.

I would LOVE to teach the grils about sewing! If my fingers didn’t have to fight arthritis, I would sew LOTS of things!!

Pat can learn to sew...my son did...

Pillows is GOOD! ‘Face LOVES pillows!

Just let me know when my silly self is welcome. Finances here are non-existent, so I will pray for monetary blessings. I have a 50th Class Reunion over Labor Day, and the 16th birthday of my grandson in AR, this year, so I am trying very hard to save my pennies.

And, with that, I think I’m heading for the bed. I still have 10 days before payday, so I need to inventory what I have and make sure it will last me. (Don’t EVER be in the “poverty” level of life. It SUX!)

If I didn’t have sicca syndrome, I would still be wearing contacts.

I look SO much better with them! (I think!)

And with that, I’m off to watch the Blanket Show! See you tomorrow!

TC, if you are ordering glasses over the internet, how do you get them adjusted properly?

So Girls...... today at 3pm, EST, I gained a Son-in-Law, and saved over $2000 in fancy wedding related expenses.

My Daughter decided that it was stupid to spend $20,000+ on a fancy wedding. (Yesterday, finally, Yea! We’ve been trying to tell her that for over a year.)

When she told her Fiancee, he said “Great! What are you doing tomorrow?” :-D

It was a beautiful ceremony, and I nearly cried when they took their vows.

We ordered the glasses at the optical shop.

AAnd congratulations on the wedding! I’m sure they’ll be just as happy as if you’d spent a fortune.
