Rumors have been floating for quite some time that Adele will record the theme song for the next James Bond movie, "Skyfall" (out in theaters Nov. 9). Now the Grammy-winning singer has all but confirmed this, as she recently revealed in an interview that she'll have a new single out by year's end — but we'll have to wait awhile longer for a full album.

I was hoping Amy Winehouse would keep it together long enough to belt out a Bond theme but, alas ...
Adele will be spectacular, though, I’m certain.

I’ve really been itching for a trailer for “Skyfall”...they’re keeping us waiting with that one.
Adele is one of the few singers for whom the reality is equal to the hype. She could sing “Mares Eat Oats” and I would listen to it.
I don't know much from the current crop of singers but I heard Adele for the first time in February while on vacation. As soon as I got home I went on Amazon and ordered all her albums. I really like her voice.

Yea, but have you heard her speak? That COCKNEY accent is very distracting. The first time I heard her sing, was on a radio station and I thought she was black.
What a surprised to see her and find out she is white & British.
