How long ago did he eat it and was it something that could possibly swell up too much in his belly?

If so, you might want to limit his water intake until tomorrow evening.

Yes, it swells up his belly. However, he’s diabetic, too, so I don’t want to limit water, as he needs it so much.

I was out when he did this. I think he was panicked.

Oh, and he just peed by the bed, on the clothes I was going to wear tomorrow. Never did that before. So, clothes are now in the wash.

Like I said, a handful. At least I still have him. There was a spell when that was iffy.

Do you have any GasEx, PhaZyme or other anti-gas simethicone stuff in the house?

If so, give him a big dose just to be safe.

[10 PhaZyme, 4 GasEx or a couple spoonfuls of liquid like Maalox with simethicone]

Even a half teaspoon of the spice Turmeric will break up any gas deposits that could cause bloating, if you’ve nothing else handy.

I keep canned pumpkin on hand for my dog who has an irritable bowel. Works like a charm. A tablespoon or two after a UPS or FedEx delivery and I’m saved the clean up headache.

You say someone has to wake up the roosters? The roosters in my neck of the woods seem to be insomniacs. They crow throughout the night...every night.
It makes me think of FDR’s promise of a chicken in every pot...oh that these noisy birds would meet such a fate!

Hey, keep it up and we’ll be close together. I get off duty at 0300 ( make any nighttime hours I please) 0400, 0500 and me and the cats FREEP until the sun comes up and I can do yard work. After chores, I go to sleep. Those dark hours see a lot beer.
