Caught on camera: two OWS protesters busted after recording vandalism for local TV

Two Occupy Wall Street protesters were collared Thursday for vandalizing subways — a day after a local TV news station recorded the crime, cops said.

Jeffrey Brewer, 34, and Aaron Minter, 40, spoke to NY1 News on Wednesday and allowed a news team to follow them as they placed decals on a subway car seats, cops said.

The stickers read: “Priority Seating for the 1%.”

After receiving a complaint about the underground shenanigans, police watched the news segment when it aired on TV, cops said. …

Minter — who has prior arrests for burglary and menacing — gave the TV station a fictitious last name, Black. But cops used the footage to track down the two vandals anyway, police said. …

How would they react if the NYC subway went to distance-based fares instead of that flat fare, which since the introduction of the Gold Metrocard included a free transfer to any city bus route? Also, it's not like the subway still has parlor cars; those haven't been around since the subway first opened . . .
