Who is a bigger threat to Republicans: John Boehner or Barack Obama?

Posted on 04/09/2012 10:44:54 AM PDT by Politics4US

John Boehner is, because he killed Republican enthusiasm after 2010, and has no response for things like the Republicans' war on women.

No, you are because you are trying to undermine the Republican campaign before it gets off the ground.

Its hard to tell, but Boehner is just stupid and gutless, unlike Obama who is actively evil.

Boehner is smart to keep quiet on the "War on Women".

Whey interfere when your oppponent is hanging himself? Keep the bullseye on Obama...as soon as Boehner steps in all the guns would focus on him...and, unfortunately these days, this includes conservative guns because the right attacks just about everything Boehner says (your vanity is a case in point).

And in answer to your question...of course Obama is a much, much larger threat.

Our great country is in the process of being bankrupted and destroyed by the Obama Administration. This is not the time for infighting.

I have been extremely disappointed with Boehner. But he is not the problem.

The problem is the Democrats. Boehner is ineffective. Obama is destroying the country and amassing unsustainable debt. Obama is a real and present threat to America.

Boehner is just an ineffective Congressman. there are literally hundreds of those in Washington.

Lost interest right there...The leftist fascists SAY there is such a war but there isn’t...better to let them hyperventilate than to “respond” to their fantasies.

And boy is Boehner a monstrous threat to our freedom. He completely threw cold water all over the 2010 massive victory, dashed our hopes for common sense, refused to defund Planned Predators, refused to defund Obummercare, and has nothing to say about nothing.

Add to that the fact that we have a rip-roaring, back-flipping, screaming liberal democrat moving into the top of our ticket, and we can see nothing but doom.

Between Romnesty and Boner, the conservative movement has been stabbed in the back by the RINOs. Good Lord, what's going to happen to our country.

False premise. Boehner isn't running for president. Obama could be beaten by my grandmother if we dug her up to keep the democrats from voting for her.

The biggest threat to republicans is romney, who is as divisive a candidate as we've ever seen. He cannot unite his own base, drives off minorities in completely justified anger and even with a conservative veep faces a media beating of the like we have never seen that will all be based on the truth.

Romney is a trojan horse candidate and is the biggest scam right after obama that has ever been pushed on the American people.

People, do some real research on this guy! It's almost criminal that he's permitted to be in the race at all!

Maybe Boehner doesn't hate the country, but he and McConnell have dutifully enabled Obama to get away with a good many destructive things. Has anybody heard Boehner condemn Fast and Furious? Seems i remember hearing that it was his wish to sweep this under the rug. Also, Rush just reported that the Regime has funneled money to the IRS to enforce ObamaCare (whether SCOTUS rules for or against it); how much to you folks want to bet Boehner and McConnell will say NOTHING! I'll win this bet!

Sorry, Beohner and McConnell have enabled Obama, therefore they ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!!

Boehner and McConnell are enablers. You folks who don't see this as a problem are simply blind.

The problem is the Democrats. Boehner is ineffective.

The (R)s are ineffective & that's the way the corrupt system wants it. Now send in your donation so they can continue in the same fashion. You see it's never enough & when the very critical votes come down they are won by the elites & usually by one vote - the sacrificial, who moves on with a plush job in D.C. - with the assistance of (guess who) the elites.

He is not interested in persuing fast and furious
He is not interested in persuing obammy’s eligability
He is not interested in stopping obammy from spending money the president is not entitled to without congress
Boehner is a go aolong get along not raise and ruckus piece of horse crap.

Boehner like McConnell is just your typical political hack. They are go along get alongs trying to maintain their cushy jobs and salaries for as long as humanly possible.

Obama on the other hand is a deliberate destructive force out to ruin our economical system and our infrastructure and replace it with a Marxist totalitarian state.

Obama is the real enemy and he must be deposed.

We don't need lectures from morons. Congressional leaders are charged with getting votes in the House and Senate and building majorities, they aren't there to do PR in the media and hold your ignorant hand.

Your post proves you have no idea who these men are or how the government works. Try paying attention instead of shooting our side.

It's conceivable that in an ideal world Republicans could have a better House leader.

It's conceivable that in an ideal world Republicans could have a better presidential candidate.

But, realistically, in this real world, who would that better House leader be?

Who is that better candidate who's in the race and available to be nominated?

Bear in mind, though, that the better leader or better nominee wouldn't necessarily believe everything that you or I believe, and a leader or candidate who believed what you or I believe wouldn't necessarily be better at the job than who we have now or who we're likely to get.
