The Washington Post's David Nakamuraand and Carol D. Leonnig have some fascinating new details up about the Secret Service supervisors involved in Colombia scandal.

Of particular note is the story of David Randall Chaney, a 48-year-old supervisor who was married with an adult son.

After posting photos of himself standing behind Sarah Palin during 2008's presidential election, Chaney reportedly commented, "I was really checking her out, if you know what i mean?”

I expect they are human and go through all the same struggles as others go through in life.

However, SS agents are people who have self discipline around their job because it is a job sensitive to public exposure and very dangerous.

They are being watched by people (and governments) who want to take the president out and if they give the display of being idiots with no self control, the president begins to look like a hit worth taking. Honey pots and extortion are real tools of spies so you don’t want SS agent with the moral fortitude of frat boys, gang bangers and hollywierdos.

Nothing wrong with checking her out. How could he not check Gov. Palin out while guarding her! But plastering it on facebook...and purchasing whores while on the job... Too much.

the steroid-marinated needle-d!cks will never go to jail. But if they did, there might just be some justice awaiting them in there.

Facebook and other social networks are the perfect fly catchers for the unwary.

And I would suggest that you don’t stop looking until you go blind or die. However, bragging about it on FB should have caught up with him long before this. I would think that his level of security clearance would have brought some scrutiny during an update. It seemed this FB post was found rather easily, evn if made 4 years ago. They are routine. And do these guys have to file foreign travel briefings when they return from overseas? The ones that ask whether you’ve had foreign contacts while away? They are routine for those with clearances. Lets see where the investigation goes. This was stupid on any number of levels.

A Secret Service Supervisor on Facebook posting things that would be at home in the 7th grade boy’s gym. Our nation is doomed.

>>> "I was really checking her out, if you know what I mean?”<<<

If he had said that about the Moocher, he would not have been fired. The Secret Service would have immediately put him out on permanent medical retirement and shipped him to the nut house at Walter Reed for being stone certified crazy !

It’s a given that posting anything that’s incriminating or could become incriminating on FB is stupid. Even after major embarrassments and scandals that have already been made public it doesn’t stop people from doing it.

It’s a waste of time to even consider what in the world they could have been thinking. They’re stuck on stupid and I’m convinced that just can’t be fixed.

He is tasked with protecting Gov. Palin and should not be looking at her and thinking of the dirty thiings and if he is looking at her, he cannot spot evil doers in the crowd.

Doesn’t posting on Facebook take the “Secret” out of the Secret Service?

What an oxymoron!

Reason 4,274 not to have Facebook.

Reason 4,275 to vote every last one of them and their lackeys out.

That, right there, should be enough to ...

...

earn him a promotion and raise, in this Administration.

The heart truly is where these things come to rest. But I should have clarified that when a man is able to pass the most difficult test and really stop looking, it is not through his own strength but the strength of Christ himself. I can testify to this reality.

As your comments portray, the blind will see and those who say they can see will be deemed guilty.
