I’m sure it’s quite stressful explaining discontinued products to a disapproving doberman.
At least he didn’t demand being driven to the local pet store to eat his fill of the gourmet treats.
Or should I not be giving him ideas? ;-)

Oddly enough, he will *not* touch any of the so-called “gourmet treats” sold in the pet stores.
The employees have tried to jam the things into his face and he politely but adamantly turns his face away.
He *loved* the Milk Bone Essentials w/antioxidants but the stores stopped carrying them.
I’ve tried everything...he finally has resigned himself to eating the IAMS antioxidant biscuits but he’s *not* thrilled with them.
It broke my heart when he dragged the empty Milk Bones box out of the trash can and “poked” me with it.
It was so “Oliver Twist”.
He doesn’t understand “discontinued”...:(

Yeah...the twerp from Antwerp....LOL
I think they were called ‘hammers’ or just ball and chain.
A mace is a club with spikes and whatnot on the end.
A baseball bat with nails in the end is kinda like the modern equivalent and a motorcycle drive chain works as a ‘hammer’ pretty good.
