(Vanity) Breaking Down Breitbart's Final Speech

Posted on 04/22/2012 1:24:02 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55

I think we should be asking a lot more questions about Breitbarts death.

He promised that we would see tapes

Breitbarts Full CPAC Speech

At 5 minutes and 21 seconds into the video.

"I've got videos by the way. This election we are going to vet him. I've got videos. This election we are going to vet him! From his college days to show you... (pause for applause)... why.. to show you why racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change were sold in 2008.
The videos are going to come out. The narrative is going to come out that Barack Obama met a bunch of silver pony tails back in the 1980's. Like Bill and Bernandine Dorn who equally radical said one day we're going to have the presidency and the rest of us slept while they plotted and they plotted and they plotted and they oversaw hundreds of millions of dollars in the Annenberg Challenge."

Stop right there. What was the Annenberg Challenge?
According to Pajama Media..
Chicago Annenberg Challenge Cover up?

After some digging I found this article from the National Review. Written by Stanley Kurtz shortly before the last election. Pay attention to this paragraph about the Annenberg Challenge.
"This much we know from the public record, but a large cache of documents housed in the Richard J. Daley Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), is likely to flesh out the story.

That document cache contains the internal files of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. The records in question are extensive, consisting of 132 boxes, containing 947 file folders, a total of about 70 linear feet of material. Not only would these files illuminate the working relationship between Obama and Bill Ayers, they would also provide significant insight into a web of ties linking Obama to various radical organizations, including Obama-approved foundation gifts to political allies. Obama’s leadership style and abilities are also sure to be illuminated by the documents in question."

Kurtz goes on to say in the three page article that he is being blocked from accessing the documents at the library. Could Breitbart have gotten access to them? Did he plan on releasing them? What is the status of those documents now?

We've seen NO tapes or information released from Breitbarts team that have anything to do with the Dorn's, The Annenberg Challenge, or anything to do with Obama's college days.

Breitbart goes on to say in the video...

"They had real money. From real capitalists. Who gave it onto their children and their children's children and they become communists. We gotta work on that. We gotta work on that. That's a parenthesis.

Barack Obama is a radical. We should not be afraid to say that. And Barack Obama was launched from Bill and Bernadette Dorn's salon.

I've been there. There is zero chance that this incredible chef did not cook many a meal for Barack Obama... When he was at Harvard he was advocating for the worst of the worst to join the faculty.

Radicals at Beirut on the Charles. And that is who is in the White House. And that is who is outside right now telling you, you don't have a right to be here

We are not seeing the evidence Breitbart claimed he had. And he ends his speech...

"You're going to have a hell of a time in 2012 because America has finally awoken to your Saul Alinsky bullshit tactics. And we're coming to get you!"

The things Breitbart talked about in his speech.. specifically information and videos pertaining to the Annenberg Challenge and Bill Ayers... have not been released.

Why

Here is the link to the article by Stanley Kurtz which was in the National Review

http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/225348/chicago-annenberg-challenge-shutdown/stanley-kurtz

This is what Kurtz says about who owns the documents...

After arriving in Chicago, I found a message, not from the special-collections librarian, but from Ann C. Weller, professor and head, Special Collections Department. In answer to my question of who had authority over access to the collection, Weller said, that

“the decision was made by me” in consultation with the library director. Weller stated that no one currently has access to the collection and added that: “The Collection is closed because it has come to our attention that there is restricted material in the collection. Once the collection has been processed it will be open to any patron interested in viewing it.”

Weller replied to this message by dropping the restricted documents issue and saying instead that the donor of the CAC records “has alerted us to the fact that we do not have a signed deed of gift.” According to Weller, this means that UIC’s library has no legal right to make the material available. The donor, said Weller, is now working with UIC library to resolve the problem, and “we hope to be able to provide access within the next few weeks.”

Replying to Weller, I briefly noted some elements of her account that I found puzzling. I added that Weller had still not answered my question about who the donor is, and/or who holds controlling authority over the collection. I closed by alerting the library to my intention to come in that day to examine the single CAC-related folder from the chancellor’s records that I did have permission to see. Later that day, I examined that one folder, took notes, and asked for the entire folder’s contents to be copied and mailed to me. I have received no further reply to my reiterated question about the identity of the donor.

Thanks, ConservativeMan. I’ll read #8 and its link in a moment but first a question:

I just finished watching the final speech (fantastic!) and I’d like to know the actual date.

What is the date he gave that speech?
