YOUR point is well taken. But he's such a sour puss when subjected to criticism, or is not the center of attention, that I have a hard time applying vivant to his personality for any reason.

That means we must be close to the Fifth.

I'll drink to that.

No paying work today, but I’m getting the info I need to give the contractor I do work for together, so not a wasted day...

With outrageously expensive clothes
Adorning her fat posterior
Michelle Antoinette demands that
Everyone thinks she’s superior

But no matter how many trips
She takes to Spain to eat quiche
She won’t become a bon vivant-
She’ll always be nouveau riche

Let her eat lobster and truffles-
She’s still a grifter and a phony
If her taste matches her clothes
It might as well be bologna

i am relieved. NO ONE i know is enthused about Romney, EVERYONE is voting for him out of desperation, and in my case it’s because the Sup Ct is vitally important. It’s virtually guaranteed that there will be 2 vacancies in the next 4 yrs. Do i want a known babykiller nominating the likeminded for LENGTHY terms? no, i do not. Romney is our only shot at pro-life jurists.

Try this one. At least he was honest enough to admit that his actions would be to re-elect Obama.

i thought this was very well said. It's accurate and put's paid to those who think that refusing to vote for Romney will allow them to sleep with a clear conscience. If they can sleep with a clear conscience it's because they are too simple to understand that they are electing the worst of two evils.

I’ve been offering those who say there is “no difference” between Obama and Romney a deal: let’s let Romney have a term and then if he’s really “no different” or worse, I’ll help them re-elect Obama in 2016.

No takers yet.

I like your “I am Woman” parody-I wonder how many verses we could get if we all contribute?

I am woman
Hear me whine
I demand
What isn’t mine
And I need government
Each day in my life

With “free” stuff
I’ll be a slave
Just a weak sister
For Nanny to save
No self respecting guy
Would want me for a wife

As I have told my son repeatedly, Bammy is a known entity that we are absolutely positive will move FAR LEFT if given a second term. At least with a RINO, we can hope for center to center right. Anything right of far left is an improvement over what we currently have.

And how pathetic do you have to be to consider having things handed to you as proof you are strong? Feminists should be saying do it on your own despite obstacles instead of saying hand it to us....yes, I know they claim they want a level playing field but still, they are taking a handout. Just shut up and do it like so many others have done already.

I’m glad to see cooler heads prevailing here-I think many of us realized from the git-go that we would have to be sensible even it was not to our liking in the short term. Xs, you are right in saying that the SC is of primary importance-damage done there is long term damage-look at the way the Chicago mob boss in DC threatens them already.

I do not know anything about Virgil Goode or any of the 3d partiers, but I did see the damage that many of my friends did with their votes for Ross Perot-and I won’t be a part of any such thing.

Thank you-I’ve been cynical damn near since I was old enough to look up the word, but that is what makes me cowboy up when I’d rather throw myself down on the ground and howl-best to laugh instead.

You’re right about doing it on our own-insisting a level playing field is like saying that life should be fair-and it isn’t. Throwing a hissy fit isn’t going to do anything but make a lot of women look like whiny bitches-and many of us refuse to be one of them...

That wasn’t mine, some guy posted it at the site in my first post. I LOVED it. I think the #julia thing backfired on them. Amazing how the right wing works the Twitter feed...I am addicted. You should check out Twitter if you are not on yet.

The julia thing is already apparently the newest item of derision of some of the Fox newsies-I heard at least two of them ridiculing it when I turned on the TV this afternoon.
