FWIW. U6 is now 12.2%. When lies become accepted fact, what is the counter to them?

Indeed. U6 is not the unemployment rate, by the way. Don't try to engage me in that specious debate. Look up the definition and acknowledge it.

I honestly do not think he should include recruiting numbers for Al Qaeda in that declaration...

This bozo is living in a parallel universe. Just where in the hell does he get such numbers? And are any RINOs going to challenge them?

The government created NOTHING. It just created dependency. That is all it ever does.

I suspect that Obama and his funny numbers are bogus. Just like anything to come out of this fools mouth is.

I happened to catch Shep Smith on FNC yesterday when he said the unemployment applications went down to 365,000 (or something like that), less than what the fed expected, and claimed that that was good news for Zero.

To me, it means 365,000 more people were now unemployed.

The U.S. BLS measures six types of unemployment, U1–U6.

U6: U5 = Part-time workers who wish to work full-time, but cannot due to ECONOMIC reasons.

Now, is that a net number of 40,000 jobs a week or is it versus minimum each of those weeks of 350,000 NEW unemployment claims?

And the actual number of unemployed persons rose by 7 million in the past 26 months.

Here’s a good line for Romney to use: “If we had a president who had ever learned how to read a balance sheet or an income statement, maybe we could believe his numbers. But Obama’s track record with accuracy of numbers isn’t too good.”

Simple. When people go past the 99th week of benefit, they drop off the unemployment rolls.

They don’t show on the statistics. But they still don’t have jobs.

According to the BLS, it includes “Total Unemployed” (their own words). The most deceitful way to gauge unemployment(especially in a long recession) and the favorite of liberals, is to measure unemployment by how many file for unemployment benefits. On a prolonged downturn, of course that number will go down. The only honest and legitimate way to determine labor statistics is the number of the labor force each month, and how many people are actually employed in it. That number has been going down for some time.

Janet Nepolitano must have assured the obozo that her agency has completed the injecting of delusional causing drugs into the country's water supply so enough of the people will now believe his horse sh#t no matter how absurd.
