Does this mean I have a legitimate claim to South Carolina?

Tell me about Ohio.
Ping.
he US should return the land that the UN sits on to the Native Americans.
Some of us remember where that adage came from.
Ohio... I am 1/32 Mohawk....Give me all your land.
virtually every nation on earth has been determined by the effective use of force and the U.S. is no exception. The whole concept of “Indian Nations” within the U.S. borders is inane. All reservations, Indian nations, etc etc should be abolished, the people involved assimilated into society and join the 21st century. That having been said, the U.S. should get out of the U.N. and get the U.N. out of the U.S. !!!
Could you imagine Bloomberg watching all those cigarettes getting sold duty free?
Great minds think alike. You were posting as I was typing.
Kentucky’s mine!!!
The UN — lowest common denominator.
The UN — lowest common denominator.
My wife is either 1/32 or 1/64 Cherokee (all that plundering and pillaging, you know. Oh, ok, her greatgrandmother was Cherokee). Can she claim a slot machine?
In our Jewish side of the family, we have/had 2 lawyers and 2 paralegals. We belong to the “SUE TRIBE”. What can we put a claim on - Lower Manhattan, a good deli.
>>Does this mean I have a legitimate claim to South Carolina?
No, because SC needs to be one of the states that seceeds from the Blue State Socialist Republic.
On returning stolen land -
I think we should first reclaim some misappropriated property. I believe it lies in Manhattan, from 42nd Street to 48th Street and First Avenue to the East River.
.....and promptly deport those that “work” there.
Dear U.N. -
Thank you so much for your concern about our Native Americans. We are grateful for your humanitarian efforts to right past wrongs and to bring justice where it is so sorely needed.
All I can say in response, in a most heartfelt way, is f**k yourselves.
Sincerely,

My cheekbones are higher than yours, so I get more!
Eventually Philippe I gave much of it away ~ some to his cousins in France, some to his cousins in Scotland, some to other relatives ~ even some for general colonization by whoever wished ~ that's the old core area called VIRGINIA. That stretched from roughly what is now the Pennsylvania/New York border South to South Carolina/Georgia. The line was smudgy down there since that part was already getting carved into Spanish landgrants.
So, how did the Indians deal with this ~ ?
Well, they didn't except the Brits took care to make sure the locals believed they'd been paid for their land. After the Revolution, and a couple of disasters, the US government took care to do that, as did Canada.
Spain never did any of that although they'd pay ransom to the Comanches for kidnapped people. The Comanches didn't own anything anyway ~ they dressed in Western clothes, used firearms and rode horses.
In the end treaties were signed for disposition of all the land and payments were made. Even the Cherokee were paid for their land albeit in a forced sale ~ the government wanted the gold there dug up and put into circulation (monetarism was a big deal back then so that made taking land easier on the conscience I guess).
There are no Indians to whom the US owes any money for land ~ it's been paid. Even the Brits and Canadians made their payments. Spain didn't.
I"d recommend the UNited NATions go see them about it!
While doing that they need to check out the Dutch on this slave thing ~ lots of unpaid bills there.
Sounds like a push for Agenda 21 to get people off rural land and into cities.
He'd faint dead away.A few years back there was a story on local news about an Indian tribe in Rhode Island that was selling cigarettes on their land (reservation?) without charging state tax. There was a film clip showing RI state cops taking people away in cuffs...it even showed a cop roughing up a guy.I didn't hear anything about the final resolution of the case.
Gee, does this mean Elizabeth Warren has a shot at being President of the Nation?
Okay, we’ll start giving it back with the UN’s piece of stolen land in Manhattan.
This is nothing more than uber bureaucrats trying to rule the world.
Nobody said they were smart.
But then again we have Obama in the White Hut.
They’re welcome to come and try to take it but they should be warned. Michigan has a stand your ground law.
I don’t have any cheekbones. Custer cut my great great grandfather, Limping Ox’s cheekbones off and none of his progeny have any. I want all of Montana for reparations.
In before anyone here tries to claim Virginia.
It’s mine. On behalf of my Patawomeck Tribe ancestors, I will be petitioning the UN to declare me ruler and rightful owner of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Ya’ll are welcome to visit though.
The United Nations should return the entire earth to it’s rightfull owners.
I want the Louisiana Purchase.
My grandfather had high cheekbones.
Just gimme all of Illinois south of I-64 and we’ll call it a deal, k?
I definitely think that Manhattan and other parts of NY should be given back to the Indians. Only Indians should be allowed to live on those tribal lands.
bingo...except this is just the kind of turmol and vullshit this pos wants to get started to tear us apart for his agenda to be dictator for life...well i say bring it on...lets start the rumble
Not if I’m standing over you with a tomahawk.
The UN could always say the US could give its ‘donation’ to the UN that keeps it afloat to the Indian tribes.
Oh, ok, let me see, you are married to....Elizabeth Warren?
Tribe of Nephite.
I Smell Jackson County, Missouri in my future!
To #27: Would you take a Custer Stand as reparations?
My grandfather was Choctaw. I call dibs on Oklahoma.
“virtually every nation on earth has been determined by the effective use of force and the U.S. is no exception.”
Absolutely.
You only own that which you are willing and able to defend, by whatever means. It was true yesterday, it is true today, and will be true tomorrow.
Unfortunately the US played the same games. The Chinese must allow Taiwan to declare independence, but the US crushed the Confederate States in the War of Southern Succession. The US backed the existence of Israel after the Romans kicked them out for over 1700+ years and over riding the Arabs who live there and now we are upset by the UN demand for giving land back to the Indians after the US took it 200+ years ago. Using Israel as a basis, the Indian claims to US land is at least 10x stronger then the Jewish claims to Arab lands for a homeland. Before all you freepers freak out about my post, the moral of the lesson is minimize overseas entanglements, because in order to maintain an empire, one has to become a hypocrite and end up making enemies that otherwise may not happen if we have kept ourselves home minding our own business.
If you're not citizens of the US, you gotta go to messyco.
What does the UN know? My ancestors bought the land grant land from not one, but two tribes (Nanticoke and Powhatan), because the two were fighting over ownership. Now, UN, get off of my lawn!
Elizabeth Taylor, not Warren. If I’m going to be married to any woman named “Elizabeth” it would be Taylor (whose autograph I have) or Shue.(I can dream, can’t I)?
Warren is a leftist pig and the only Indian in her is a bowl of curry she had for dinner.
If she gets elected to Congress, her constituents will find out that she is, like other leftist Democrats, an “Indian-giver” (liar/cheat) while also being an “Indian taker” (i.e. a Democrat tax-your-ass-off politician).
However, Warren might also be an indian of another kind, a “red”, as in marxist.
Outside of a handful of Indian reds from the American Indian Movement, the American Indian has been one of the most loyal groups of Americans around (the brave Code-Talkers of WW2; Ira Hayes, Iwo; Jim Thorp; Vietnam, Iraq, etc).
Warren is a marxist pig and no honorable Indian tribe would claim her as one of them. They know a marxist in buffalo skins when they see one.
Say what?
(I may or may not agree, totally confused by that)
For context for readers.
Are you Chinese?
