Yeah, I know my direct line of Native American ancestors never lived south of the Mason/Dixon...but since I live here, its just easier for me to to claim Florida for reparations.
Can you square all that with the Florida Cherokees for me?
Because I am sure my tribe would have eventually conquered the Cherokees here, if my white ancestors had not beaten “us” into submission via wars and genocides, a few centuries ago.

I doubt that any part of the Earth worth having hasn’t been stolen or fought over many times. I’ve always liked this poem by Carl Sandberg:
