The Twin Sisters who Share a HUSBAND (and he’s also Married to Their C0usin)
Daily Mail ^

Posted on 05/05/2012 10:18:19 AM PDT by nickcarraway

From their brunette hair to their dress sense, twin sisters Vicki and Valerie Darger have a number of things in common.

But the 42-year-olds share more than just their looks - they are both married to the same man.

The sisters are in a polygamous marriage with Joe, 43, who is also wed to a third woman - their cousin Alina. The Dargers, who are fundamentalist Mormons from Salt Lake City, Utah, live together in a large family home and have 24 children between them.

Vicki, currently a stay-at-home mother, has been married to Joe, who runs a construction company, for 22 years. Valerie joined the family as his third wife in 2000.

In the eyes of their Fundamentalist Mormon religion, all three women are equally married to Joe.

They each have their own bedroom, and Joe alternates between the three rooms each evening.

Valerie, who works in the family cleaning business with Alina, 43, said: 'The fact that Joe was married to Vicki didn't bother me at all. I took it as a sign he would be a good husband for me as well.

'As teenagers, Vicki and I liked some of the same guys. I thought it might even be good if we married the same man.'

From the earlier pictures to the current BALD pictures, it seems that Joe must’a been banging his head against the bed’s headboard an awful lot, in his rounds amongst three bedrooms every night.

With three wives, there’s only one week a month that none of them are PMS, and with a few dozen screaming children in the house, how does one get enough sanity to get enough sleep after his rounds to go to work to make enough money to support the brood?

And to support the school bus needed to take them to the movies or Buffet One??

Umm..erh...women in a household usually get on the same cycle. So Joe faces the demons, all at once.

How about a local election, to see if voters want to raise taxes to pay for the polygamy/homosexual marriage “police.”

I think the amount of gubmint aid to the non-legal wives (unmarried mothers with children) will dwarf the policing bill.

Given the LDS practice of keeping a year’s food in the house. . .

. . . does that make them Two Girls, one Cup-board ???

(I am **sooooo** going to hell for that quip. . .)

But seriously, with 24 kids. . .can you IMAGINE the grocery bills ???

As Joe is working on one wife, I wonder whether the others are “helping out”??

Might be kind’a cool!

“I think the amount of gubmint aid to the non-legal wives (unmarried mothers with children) will dwarf the policing bill.”

True conservative position is no government aid, period—btw.

Then put the figures in the ballot measure. Same for homosexual marriage, for which I have never heard claims that they ride on government money.

But let voters decide. I’m quite certain that my district, home to conservative Dana Rohrabacher, would say live and let live, don’t waste any more of our money.

Very small government with very small budget, means maximum personal freedom. Make your own rules for your family, for your church.

I’ve heard it postulated that that’s why the Middle East is so screwed up; they are literally retarded from inbreeding. Polygamy is bad on for a number of reasons, mutations only one of them.

If you can prove he’s having sex with kids then do so. If you can’t you’re just blowing smoke.

I disagree, the redefinition of marriage in any direction destroys a nation.

Everyone likes to joke about the children, but facts is facts, they are not adults and need protection.

Part of my campaign is opposing those who suggest public policies that violate the natural law basis for our free republic.

Think about it.

Where would I find your resume of actual works, on earth in he here and now?

You know, college, positions held, participation in institutions, accomplishments, family—wife, children?

Because if you represent yourself as an authority on natural laws, folks with brains gonna want to know those things.
