The rapid increase in male demand for tanning, waxing and facial treatments is expected to help create 11,000 jobs in the £6.2bn beauty industry over the next 12 months, research by Kantar Worldpanel has found.
However the survey of 1,500 businesses across Britain exposed surprising regional divides.
In Scotland, the number of grooming treatments bought by men has risen by three quarters, the biggest increase anywhere in Britain. A fifth of these were sessions on the sunbed as men top up their tans.

It is in direct correlation to the percentage of male homosexuals. The more homos, the more waxing, tanning, etc
