Obama is analogous to the biggest, best wrapped package under the Christmas Tree, the one with your name on it when you were much younger. It caused you to wonder. It caused you to dream. You couldn't hide your anticipation as the big day grew closer. Then came Christmas, you tried to prolong the mood by opening other presents first. Finally, you tore into "the one" only to find that it was a disappointing large box of underwear and socks.
If the Romney campaign is smart, they’ll send minions to all of Zero’s events to take pics of the size of the crowds. A smart campaign would put out comparisons of 2008 and 2012 crowd size. Twitter would work nicely for this - the blogosphere picks it up and the word gets out. The LSM sure isn’t going to give out any data resembling reality - which is why the LSM is going the way of the dinosaur.
