The campaign to dethrone theO is on.......up and at it!
Don’t the cicatrix come out every 17 years?
If you’re cicatrix, don’t vote for Zerobama this time.
Nah, it’s a new drug to help people quit smoking.
this is a great word, it’s actually the same word in Spanish for scar.
Silly rabbit, cicatrix is for kids.
The West Virginians had quite a message for Obama - 40% of Democrats voted for a felon sitting in a Texas jail.
Obama’s thin skin sports a cicatrix
As voters declare they are sick o’tricks
West Virginia was tellin’
Two fifths chose a felon
Over Barry, thus prompting many limericks
explorer alerted me to that delicious fact first thing this AM! hilarious. gotta luv the hillbillies!
Beat me to it.
And 20% of Dems in NC voted “no preference” for president.
Maybe an Erectile dysfunction drug?
In Wisconsin we had the recall election primary. The unions poured money into Kathleen Falk's campaign, and she lost badly on the Dem side. Of course Gov. Walker won handily, but now he has to face Tom Barrett. Again.
Will the unions pour more money into Barrett's race? It's a conundrum because Barrett (current Mayor of Milwaukee) has been using Walker's so-called "anti-union" reforms to save money in Milwaukee. The unions are furious. Barrett has also allowed thousands of jobs leave Milwaukee over the last decade, and his hypocritical rhetoric blames Walker who has been in office 1 1/2 years and been under fire the whole time.
3 more weeks! June 5.
I thought it was the plural of cicada.
“In Ohio, they like to eat pan fried Cicatrix for dinner”.
A Chippewa Falls man who repeatedly tried to block his estranged wife from driving to the polls Tuesday was hospitalized with head, neck and back injuries when she struck him with her sport utility vehicle. Jeffrey Radle, a Gov. Scott Walker supporter, was on foot. Amanda Radle, a recall proponent, was in a Dodge Durango.
I’m no where near as confident as you about November, but I truly appreciate your attitude - it brightens my day!
The really infuriating thing about those who refuse to vote for our republican nominee is that they are waiting for some magical perfect candidate. Come on people - we get the chance to vote for a President once every four years and you want to keep waiting? No one is perfect - but we know how bad barry is. Right now we know - and he will get worse. How self hating do you have to be to subject yourself and everyone you know to worse than we have right now?
Not to be confused with a keloid.
The Comanche chief in the movie, “The Searchers”, was called ‘Cicatrix’ by Mexican traders, and ‘Scar’, by John Wayne’s character.
But, you see, if they vote for a person who supports abortion and gay marriage like Romney, then God will blame them.
That’s the theory.
More people voted for Walker yesterday than for the 2 Democrats running in the primary. If that is any measure of things.
Isn’t a scar, in general, “new connective tissue over a healing sore or wound?” What makes a scar a cicatrix?
Actually, cicatrices are female cicaters, which plague potater crops every 17 years.
It’s not self-hating at all. It’s quite the opposite. It’s self-loving. I’m talking obsessive, Onan-level self-loving. These people put themselves ahead of the Republic because they have decided that their self-defined “purity” is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING ON EARTH, and mathematical reality be damned, they will not take a step that they do not deem perfect. No matter it leads to Obama, no matter that people that they were willing to run the country like Newt or Santorum are obviously smart enough to do the proper thing - no one, nothing will “force” them to do anything.
I have a five-year-old at home. I understand the “thought” process.
OMG HD, you are damned hot when you are impassioned!
I just know a lot about that whole Onan thing......
I saw that last night...that was awesome. I think those Dems are pissed off...good.
My sister moved to WV for a teaching job back in the ‘80s. There had been a murder of a woman by her husband. Dragging by the hair, etc. The editorials and letters to the editor were a riot. Locals were plenty pissed that some editor who moved to their area would presume to tell them what they could DO TO their women. OMGosh, my sister saved papers to show me. I could not believe what I was reading. Of COURSE, the editorials would shun this, while the letters took the opposing view. This went on for a couple of years while there was an arrest, trial and so on. NEVER would I have believe it. Hillbilly doesn’t begin to explain it.
I’m sorry, but that is not true. First of all, there were 4 Democrats running yesterday and one “fake” Democrat — just to make sure that there would be a Primary — to keep all but one of the dems from pulling out at the last minute. In addition, there was a “fake” Republican opposing Walker, just to be sure that the Republicans turned out and voted on the Republican ticket (instead of creating mischief on the Dem ticket).
If you subract the votes from the “fake” Dem and also subtract the votes from the “fake” Republican running on the Republican side, that adds up to about 25,000 votes. And then give those 25,000 votes to Walker. Walker squeaks out a victory over the sum of the remaining Democrats.
So, it is going to be very close in June unless the Dems stay home, and we turn out even more Republicans.
If my husband was voting D, he’d have to “take matters into his own hands” if you know what I mean. No way I could accept a democrat in the family.
You are right! I used the wrong word - thanks for the great explanation!
The recall election is in 3 weeks? Really? A+++
Since you didn’t ask, Aya Tomic and Kat Hansen are totally doable. But, in regard to your actual message - you’re right. I like the idea of trying to tie in literary eatery. Can’t be too many to pick from. However, this one ain’t worth the cutsie symmetry.
Wow! That’s taking one for the team. A+++
Looks like a left wing joint that thinks all republicans are racists. I wouldn’t walk in the door.
started by antiwar activists??? i guess i was so incensed by the LEFTWINGEDNESS of the place that i didn’t even make the literary connection to the place. it’s TOTALLY something this teacher would eat up with a spoon though, and the fact that the actual field trip is to Maryland sites and they are hauling into DC specifically to hit up this place? OMG i am still enraged.
I just love the unintended consequences of that whole attack Rush thing. A+++
I’m not sure I share your indignation. Looks like a hippie vegan free-range chicken restaurant, but it looks otherwise harmless.
I got distracted by the mention of hot paninis. It’s fun to say too. Also, Langston Hughes is one of the most overrated poets of the century.
I just know you can’t use a Langston 7 inch gangling wrench to remove a Finley sprocket.
Not to mention a Hughes crescent...that reminds me, I need to call the lawnmower shop. Ours is roaring like a freight train and I’m guessing the repair will be expensive.
