Apple releases OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 and Security Update 2012-002 for OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard

Apple today released OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 which is recommended for all OS X Lion users and includes general operating system fixes that improve the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac including fixes that:

• Resolve an issue where the “Reopen windows when logging back in” setting is always enabled

• Improve compatibility with certain British third-party USB keyboards

• Address an issue that may prevent files from being saved to a server

• Improve the reliability of copying files to an SMB server

OS X Lion Update 10.7.4 and security update 2012-002 for OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard is available via Software Update and also vi standalone installer.

I just got my new iMac (got tired of waiting for a refresh), patched it up to 10.7.3, and then this update comes out 12 hours later. Sheesh.

Thanks for ping! I got OSX Lion on new computer and Snow Leopard on old Mac Mini( will not update for Lion/ falls short on hardware but still excellent for back room). I will be looking to update. Thanks.

I hope this fixes the wi-fi connection problems on my Mac Book Air. Connections with “n” standard routers are slow and frequently are lost.

We have several MacBook Airs around my office and none have exhibited such a problem. I suggest you make an appointment at the genius bar as I suspect you have a hardware problem. They may swap your MBA out.

I hate to keep bragging Apple but the Airport Extreme Base Station is the Best Trouble free unlike other Routers. It is pure Heaven compared with before Routers. LOL!!

I hated the weekly disconnect with other routers.
