The hockey season should be over before the river breaks up.
Here in south central PA, I don’t believe the Susquehanna River froze over all year.
But as far as I’m concerned, my Penguins season ended way too soon.

Another great series in the East. Question is, will Phoenix or the Kings be able to take the going of a 7 game?
Actually, I was wondering if the Rangers were up to a third chance at a Game 7, after taking Ottawa and Washington the distance.
Ooo, fresh ice for the conference finals. I’m picking the Kings to go all the way.
I agree with you, they seem to have all the ingredients to make a run. The fact that they've never won before would make it even better. Since my Red Wings were a MAJOR disappointment (again), I am rooting for the Kings to go all the way.
Go Kings!
The ice looked pretty bad at the end of the Caps/Rangers game last night.
MSG must have a pretty old ice freezing system.

Honestly I’m just hoping for a NYR-LA final. Getting the two biggest cities in the US interested in hockey would be great. Knowing the NHL’s luck, it will be a PHX-NJ final (not taking anything away from those two teams, they just don’t have the media draw).
No doubt. Hockey is, IMHO, the best sport and anything that would help get people interested would be great.
Yet they are always ragging on the Southern markets and their ice.
Commissioner Buttman will no doubt ensure a New York-LA final. Besides, the thought of him handing the trophy to the Devils in Newark after his screw job of them for the Kovalchuk deal must keep him up at night. He’s the worst thing to happen to the game since....ever.
p.s. The Wings and the Pens were pretty puny in the Finals.
So you’re good as long as the West finishes on top?
Right, so long as the Wings are in the Western Conf.
Go Coyotes! I love seeing Jobing filled with Yotes fans. I will cheer for either western conference team in the final and cheering for New Jersey over the Rangers. I’m glad the Flyers and Caps lost.
That 2009 Stanley Cup win (loss for you) just gave Wings fans incredible butthurt. Thanks for reminding me what a great time that was!
Couldn’t care less about hockey, but just want to know if players are using PINK sticks tonight...just watched home run phenom Josh Hamilton strike out for the second time with his precious little pink bat.
