We do and love the show. Can't wait to see what happens next season. Snow and Charming are taking back the kingdom. Will David and Mary Margaret do the same in Storybrooke?
Once.
I watch it...like it...I think the evil queen/mayor is hot!
I watch it every week with my 10 year old, and we both love the way they’ve not only brought the fairy tale characters to life, but have shown the back story in how the characters came to be, etc.
I think it’s a great show and whoever thought of it, and created the story lines, has great imagination.
I can’t wait for next season.
I don’t need to watch make believe shows about fairy tale nightmares when I can simply turn on the news and see the absolutely unbelievable happening in realtime before my very eyes.
Definitely different than the standard fare
We've been recording them
the family watches, i watch only because the evil queen is hot
The wife and I both enjoy this show. Thought it very inventive how the dwarfs get their name. I can go along with pretty much all the characters' back story, but I have to draw the line with Red (Red Riding Hood). Red as a werewolf? Nope. I'm not buying it.
I watch it - clever show!
I completely agree!! It’s so nice to see a show with an imagination and something different. You knew when the dragon was slain that was not the end of the story:o)
I did.....once upon a time. Sorry had to do it. : )
No.
But I remember Dan Fogelberg’s “Once Upon A Time”.
Sorry to put this thread in to the ditch...
CA....
I watch it with our two boys and all three of us like it.
Been watching it all season, and love it too! Haven’t seen the season finale yet, but plan to do it this evening. Looking forward to Season 2 as well.
I watch it and Grimm.
Both are interesting takes on their subjects.
Glad to see Lana Parrilla in a series that got renewed for a 2nd season. Swingtown and Miami Medical didn’t.
We love the show you can tell the LOST guys are writing it. It will be interesting to see what season 2 is all about. Rumplestiltskin and Regina will get their powers back. Should be some good battles. I don't think there are 2 sets of characters. I think just when Charming and Snow decide to take back the kingdom is when the curse was broken and they are all in Storybrook but know who they are.
We watch it with our boys too. Another show we really enjoy together is “The Middle”. It just feels so nice to watch something as a family. Usually there are shows the kids like that we as parents have to stomach, just to make sure what they are watching is appropriate. On the flip side, there are a lot of shows that my husband and I watch that we would NEVER watch with the kids. But this show takes me back to watching “the Carol Burnette Show” on Saturday nights with my family and having a wonderful time doing it.
I’ve only sat through a few of Obama’s speeches...but, upon realizing they were all fairy tales, I quit....
Gives me time to browse FR and other conservative sites.
;^)
The whole first season will be available on dvd by August 28, 2012.
And yes, the storyline is interesting. They’re borrowing some basic ideas from CS Lewis. A wardrobe after all. A small hint, I believe, that they understand Lewis’ larger point about the real things embedded in mythology.
Now that Emma is “in,” next season could easily devolve into a childish dungeons and dragons game writ large, and that would be bad. I hope they stay with the theme of true love as the supreme subversive power. Gold’s take on this point is very interesting, and exquisitely cynical. I wonder how “redemption” will work for him, or Regina, or whether they will allow that some just never get it, which here in “Real Land,” seems to be the case.
I’d hit her too!
I used to like that and Grimm (NBC) before I got rid of my cable TV. Now I just have Netflix.
We also watch Grimm & OAUT. They are the ONLY TV shows I watch and I love both of them.
I also watch Eureka, Merlin and Touch with our boys, although if Touch throws in another gay or lesbian story we'll stop watching it.

GtG
It's always a big clue when pleasure is used for programming. It almost always means the reality it represents anything but pleasure...

I Watch it, its not the greatest program on TV, but its good.

OK, now you have my attention. Those guys should be national heroes for writing LOST. We’re about 2/3 the way through, watching it on Netflix. Best series ever.
Hubby & I watch this & Grimm. I really like them both but Grimm is my favorite. I love Monroe!
Actually, I think Once Upon a Time is the perfect show to watch back to back on Netflix. It’s too easy to miss what’s going on and who’s who when watching it once a week.
What I thought was funny about that was how Red, who turns out was the big bad wolf, had a boyfriend named Peter. Peter and the Wolf! Props to the writers for that one!
Time well spent on both parts!
The Middle is on ABC Wednesday at 8 or 830. It is a typical family with typical family problems. It’s a comedy so it is pretty fun to watch.

I was worried that they would not be able to keep things going on OUAT. It would have been hard to keep going with no major victories for the good guys. The way they did the season final put that to rest. A major victory that came through a unexpected twist and before there can be much rejoicing a new major danger erupts.
Bravo!
i like it,it is very clever!
I think it was created by 2 former LOST writers.
