Billy Joel's River of Dreams was filmed on *my* River ... The Connecticut. Billy created quite a stir during the filming from Old Saybrook to Essex. He ran in to my god daughter and was so taken with her natural beauty, put her in the film. [I think b/c she looked a lot like Christie Brinkley] Heh. Was *big doin's* in town for a while. LOL.
Good call. First time I heard it, I was on a Dickerson 37 on a broad reach on the Chesapeake.
